My Just Peed But Imma Pee My Pants Anyway moments always happen like, at the SAME SPOT in the hallway on my way back to my desk. I round the corner, and it's like "HERE'S JUST A LITTLE PEE FOR YA."

At what point do I start wearing pads? I don't wanna. None of my underwear fit and I have been living in thongs.

@Cantisa -- No. But-- one time last summer I forgot to even pull my panties down when I was hovering over a public toilet and I peed right through them. What the? I was wearing a maxi skirt so I just took them off and threw them away. When in Rome. Literally. I was in Rome.

My mind is blown by this ketchup chip situation. That does not sound good at all.

Ketchup chips sound gross.

I love salt and vinegar ones. Dill pickle is another favorite.

When I go to Jimmy Johns I get S+V and jalepeno ones and eat them together. Which is currently making my mouth water and making me feel barfy at the same time.

My dad rocks. I made a random FB status about how I was having a massive craving for Chinese food, and he just called me and offered to buy us dinner from our favorite Chinese place. He called it a "minor contribution to keep a pregnant woman happy"

Still way cheaper than a trip to Canada. Not saying I would spend the money on them. Frankly I'm just not that into ketchup, but for the ketchup enthusiast, the $ might be worth the experience? H and I will spend what most consider a ridiculous amount on beer if it's super special or rare, so I get it.

As long as your opinion was stated respectfully, not as yelling at him or something, then I think you were perfectly reasonable and shouldn't feel like a jerk.

Man, I miss curry ketchup, not the gross German kind, the Dutch ketchup. Also, satay sauce on fries is genius. I feel like I should go back just for the fries. It is still a mystery to me that I lost 20 lbs living there, but I had those fries just about every day.

I can skim over the words that I don't want to read and still get the gist of what's being said. Different when it's on tv and you can't do that. I understand that sometimes that's just "part of the entertainment" of the show, but sometimes it's just over the top with unnecessary vulgarity. That's what I can't do. I mean, I'm a hockey player (when not pregnant), have two older brothers, and one of them is a sailor..so I'm no stranger to that kind of language. I'm in no way sheltered. I just choose to not speak like that and try to avoid hearing it. My breaking point with DH and this show was when I realized he started using some of that language, and that's not gonna fly in our relationship. Sex talk doesn't bother me at all. I'm obviously no stranger to that either. :P

I feel that way about HBO shows sometimes and I am not religious. The unnecessary vulgarity and nakedness of unattractive people makes isn't entertaining to me. That's why I asked.

@savagek7‌ DH and I decided about 5 years ago not to watch R rated movies/TV-M for that same reason. We do occasionally make an exception, but do so mutually. Its really nice to just have a general standard we agree on. Although sometimes I'm dissapointed to find out a movie is R rated because I was looking forward to seeing it.

I have a good random actually. So on Sunday we had one of our hypnobirthing classes. This one was on L&D and the options for pain management. We watched videos on the different types of medical interventions. I couldn't watch during the epidural clips. I am really not interested in doing that, but it is good to be informed and I am open to it should I decide to change directions and opt for meds. 

After the class DH and I went to get dinner. During dinner DH said, "You know what, after today's class I have to say that I get it now. I get why you don't want an epidural". He went on to say that he would have supported me no matter what, but he didn't really understand what the big deal was. He agreed with my decision before simply because he understood that not having drugs in me would mean that there wouldn't be any drugs in the baby, but that he didn't realize how invasive having the epidural was and all the possible complications that go with it. 

Gold star for my DH.

@savagek7 I feel you, girl. There are some shows that DH watches that I just cannot tolerate. I have to leave the room and they usually make me pretty grumpy. I don't really mind nipples and cursing, but don't feel bad if that's what sets you off.  What I hate is violence and like gratuitous vulgarity. It brings me down and I don't like the atmosphere it creates in my home. I don't think you need to justify to anyone why it makes you uncomfortable. It just does and it's your house. I choose to let DH have a few of these shows and I just do other things while he's watching them. If it really seemed to affect him and his integrity then it would be a different story. But for now, this sort of compromise works for us. Hope that helps, at least just knowing there is another Christian bumpie who can relate to this frustration.
