any names you're calling the baby other than it?

I don't know about any of you but DH and I are really not liking calling the baby it when we refer to him/her. so we started calling it gummy bear because that is what it looked like on the most recent U/S. So I was wondering do any of you have a name you're calling the baby so you don't have to say it?

I called Baby #1 Doodlebug, Baby #2 Chicken Wing (long story), and this baby is The Squish.

DS1 is still called Bug, DS2 is still called Chicken Wing, and this baby will likely not be able to drop the nickname The Squish.

This one's nickname is Little Asskicker. Not wholly appropriate for some but it's a reference to a baby on The Walking Dead.

We always call the babies by the boy's name we have picked out.  So this one is Fletcher.

We're calling it each week what size it is... So, it was our lil sweet pea during week 6, and is our lil blueberry this week. Next week it will be our lil raspberry. Etc.

We were doing this but then sometimes I freaked me out to eat that particular food item after thinking of my baby in those terms. Without fail I bought blueberries right before it became a blueberry, etc.

DH likes to make up names for it that rhyme or go with it's stage of life. When it became an embryo he called it Embryo Estevez. I usually ignore these references :-)

Gummy bear was a fav for a long time too.

my mom started calling it birdie right away so now that's what everyone calls it! I think it's pretty cute.

We call ours Pancake. Before we even thought about having a baby my FIL told us that when we have a baby not to give it a weird celeb type name like Pancake. And now we have Pancake. The end.

Ok.... I'll explain. My brother-in-law has a baby named Mia. So we were joking with them about naming our baby "Mee-yah-too", claiming it had some Native American roots...... (and of course nothing to do with naming it Mia-2).

So the name has just stuck. :P

We called E Bean - very original, I know, but it actually stuck. We still call her The Bean or Rue Bean (middle name is Ruth) or Nellie Bean (NN is Nell). 

We call this one Pip.

We've been calling this one our little monster. But my girls just call him baby. Most days I call him baby rice since rice is my last name.

Up till last week I just called it baby. After our u/s I decided on Froggy cause of how the little arms and legs were flailing around. But I do find myself referring to it as a he. DD was Jellybean.

DH and I use a lot of emojis when we text, and our images for each other are our Chinese New Year animals. So I'm a rat and he's a tiger. When we text about the baby, it's a picture of a little lamb. 

We call it "the baby" but ever since my nine week ultrasound I just call it "The Prawn". Because it looked exactly like a shrimp the way it was all curled up in my womb. Sometimes it's also "the bean". 

The first time I saw it during my dating ultrasound, I turned to my mom and said "Look! It's your little grand-blobby". But she did not appreciate that one.

If it's a girl, her name will be Hermione. It's it's a boy, his name will be Spartacus. So for now we call it Hermionacus.
