How is everyone today? I'll be crafting all day after work. I have a shit ton of projects to finish and I need to start working on my winter stuff. My craft closet is overflowing so I'm not lacking in materials. It's kinda fun discovering things that I'd forgotten about. I hope everyone is having a good day today.

Exactly this. Nobody is failing. Stop calling misteps failures. You're all kicking ass in this challenge. It seems like even those that are spending are way more conscious of what they're spending and why. That's huge. Nobody is failing.

@Holls2011 It's so awesome that you're doing that. I'm going to bring this up to DH because I know we need to do it too.

@mrsmechanic1 Sometimes it's just a time vs money thing and that's okay. It sounds like you're doing the best you can with what you have.

I had to buy lunch today because I forgot mine.  BUT I think that's counteracted that I cancelled some services on my cell plan that will save us $20/mo and bullied Tmobile into giving me a $35 credit for a screw up.

I also got an ebates check and cancelled the photographer for DS' birthday. I'll lose the deposit, but the party is just out of control and it was a little overboard to get a photographer for a 2nd birthday.  I do love some good pictures, though.

Oh, and I'm selling clothes at a consignment sale this week and plan to not buy ANYTHING.

Thanks @uconnhuskie007‌. I can't decide if it's irresponsible to basically throw away $100 deposit or responsible to save the other $100 balance. Lol

@uconnhuskie007‌ ... Good try but $200 is total. I'll get all the digital files. no worries, though... I've already sent the cancellation email. It would be nice if she offered a mini session for the cost of the deposit, but I don't expect that.

Maybe it's because there are just less boy clothes out there? When people have a girl people go crazy buying clothes, but not so much with boys.  But, yeah, it has already gotten harder to find clothes at consignment sales and such, but I've bought way ahead via clearance and past sales and I REALLY don't need anything. He's small and will probably be wearing 18m pants from last year at least through the fall unless he his some crazy growth spurt.

But I keep reconsidering going to the pre-sale today.  I hate the idea of a passed up good deal. His birthday is in less than two weeks, though, and I invited 50 people so he definitely doesn't need toys or anything before then.

Good news is the photographer offered to give a discount on a session at a later date instead of me just having to write off the deposit.
