I just ate these for lunch.  I wish I could eat 10 of them.  They're delicious.  Three Cheese & Spinach Stuffed Pretzels.  They cook for like 90 seconds and actually maintain their texture and don't get weird.  They're delicious.

My daughter just picked out the pieces of broccoli in her pasta and ATE IT! This is unusual for her, but a welcome change.

@MRoxy0628, they're awesome.  Seriously, Target had them on sale so I think I got it for $1.79 or something.  Definitely worth it!

I am losing a lot of time if I actually want to pull off a themed party for G. I haven't done anything.  At all.  I'm not into it this year but I really want to be.  Maybe it's just denial that it is so close.

I should be using my quiet afternoon to get caught up on stuff at work.  Instead I'm perusing TB.  I'm tired and it's rainy/gloomy outside.  It's so hard to get motivated.

I've got the family invites done for A's party. Now on to friend ones. I'm ALSO indecisive on who we should invite. We have a kind of web of friends - we're close to some but are all in the same circle. So it's getting complicated.

Add me to the list of people who are scrambling to get invites out-- I haven't decided on a theme yet and really need to get going, since his bday is less than a month away :S

We have been dealing with MEGA constipation issues for about a month now. We've been doing milk of mag per the pedi's orders for 2 weeks now, so I called this morning to see what else could be done because it's affecting his day to day at this point. They wanted him to come in for an Xray so we went in, and as soon as they got the pictures, he shit EVERYWHERE. Like, it looked and sounded like he was giving birth. I felt so bad for him, but I was also excited he was able to go finally. My husband was in the room with him during the X-rays while I fed the baby, and the nurse came out and was like 'um, he needs you in there... NOW.' H was gagging in the corner (DOTY) while Jasper was screaming on the table. His weight changed by 2.1 lbs after he was finished. 

Are cookies an appropriate "I'm sorry you had to clean up 2 lbs of my child's poop off of your X-ray table" gift? If so, I've got some baking to do....

this is both horrific and hilarious.  i would have been completely mortified.  and I would never, ever return there.  Ever.

If it makes you feel better, I ate EVERYTHING until I started feeling better a couple weeks ago.  The eating made me feel better, and I don't regret it.  Well maybe a little, but hey.  Whuddya gonna do.

@MarisaKathleen it was! It was like a scene from a movie. I walked into the room and Jasper was peeing everywhere, like straight up into the air, screaming and birthing his insides, my husband was gagging in the corner... it was a mess. When we were leaving we heard two of the technicians talking about what they were going to do with the garbage from in there and one was like 'umm... it needs to go to the dumpster like NOW'. I offered to help clean up, like spray the table down and wipe it and such, but they said no.

Honestly, I wish I could stop laughing about this.  I'm sure it was awful to go through, but it's so funny for me to imagine. :-(  It sounds exactly like something that would happen in a movie.

I just realized today that Nola's birthday is next week! I never planned on planning anything anyways but I would still like to at least get her a few gifts and a cake. I need to start brainstorming!

She starts preschool in three weeks and I'm contemplating joining MOPS. I may overbook myself by doing all of that (it would have us doing something 4 mornings/wk)but I really don't want to be a hermit this fall/winter like I was last year! Also, I need new friends because all of mine have moved away.

On a random note, I absolutely fell in love with Southport, NC a few days ago and now want to drop everything and move there. We just bought this house and close on the house we're selling next week. Now, I want to sell this house and buy one in Southport. I'm insane!

I just got the deal of the year! A grandma in our neighborhood was having a garage sale and was selling Livie & Luca and See Kai Run shoes new in box for $2.00-$0.50 per pair because "her daughter didn't like them" I now have 10 boxes of shoes and no idea where to put them.

I'm turning into that mom who has totally out of control kids. We go out and the boys are horrible. They don't listen. They run around and act like maniacs. No matter what I do, it's just awful . It never use to be like this, but it's getting clear that I need to stop taking them out for awhile. Outings never end well.

oh man that really sucks. When I finally went to go get paper towels keagan had a complete meltdown in target. Kicking screaming, hitting me. Ugh it was awful. He never ever does this so I wasn't really prepared for it and didn't handle it well. It is so hard when kids don't cooperate

It's 325am.  I should not be awake.   Dexter has woke up twice in the MOTN already tonight.  Go. To. Sleep. Kid.  I see lots of coffee on the horizon.

L did this twice over the weekend. She ended up with half a banana in her hand, asleep on my chest on Sat. Oy!

Ugh - I can relate.  Our kids have been disasters at the store (especially Target) lately.  The last time we went, DH and I just looked at each other and asked why we even attempted this again.  I am fairly sure I've been judged many times for not keeping my kids under control.  I wouldn't even attempt to take them myself these days.

I use bribery.  It works with the older one, not really with the younger one.  But at least then I'm 50% better!

Oh definitely, by 610 he was cashed out on my chest asleep.  I still just cannot believe he was up that long.  I'm like, what was that? Lol  And he slept only till 7.  He's such a crab.  This could be a long day.
