I miss you all! Rooting for you and I still lurk frequently!
I am 15 weeks today! Just when I think the morning sickness is gone BAM! Last night I had to pull over on the side of the road and deposit my dinner. Sleeping is getting more uncomfortable but I bought a snoogle body pillow which is helping. I am starting to show where I look more pregnant that just fat. My 16 week scan with my OB and MFM are next week! I can't wait to see/hear the babies!

I'm 6 weeks now and struggling to keep any food down. My first prenatal appointment was last Friday and they prescribed Zofran. But there were insurance issues, blah blah blah. Now it is Tuesday, I'm still vomiting, still have no medicine, and I'm still just leaving voicemails for the medical assitant at my OB's office, who may or may not do anything about them. I LOVED my OB for DS#1, but had little faith in the competence of her MA. Now I'm debating if I want to go through it with this MA again or not. I'd hate to change doctors because of it, but seriously.....She ordered labs wrong (resulting in 4 blood draws on 4 different visits), forgot to schedule my 20-week ultrasound, never gave me instructions for my glucose challenge test, didn't pass on phone calls to the OB about some complications. The list goes on and on. But the OB is great. So, yeah, I'm just venting. If I don't have Zofran by tomorrow then I'm sadly finding a new doc. It is ridiculous.
I'm holding up OK, I guess. Though I'm eager for the 2nd trimester to arrive. I feel like I'm going to need to take a throw-up break while I type this! I'm dealing with fatigue (the worst seems to have passed), mild-moderate nausea, and lots of moodiness. It makes it hard to deal with life's stresses in general, so I'm just trying to muddle through right now.
On the household front, my house is a mess. We were supposed to have our carpets changed yesterday - a one day job. The floor turned out to be in bad shape and will need repairs before the carpet can be replaced. So now, my clothes are in 3 rooms and the upstairs stuff is mostly downstairs. The carpet replacement is now scheduled for a day before my bro and his wife show up for a weekend visit in 10 days. So, not only do we have to clean everything in one day, we also have to move the furniture back. I'm hoping for a stellar Forrest Gump performance through all this, since I don't have the energy or clarity of mind to deal with the problems like an adult.
Sorry about your vomiting @mattandlora. Hope you can get hold of some Zofran soon.
@neonnoon - I have a few old pills from the last pregnancy that I'm hoarding and rationing like a crazy person. Unfortunately I had to take 2 today to (1) eat breakfast and (2) keep breakfast down
Nothing much to report. 12 wks. Time is moving so slow. My boss brought back a few things from Nantucket for me since I couldn't go. One was a onesie. I just held it and kept staring at it. I can't believe that it's mine. Not giving it to someone as a gift but it's actually staying at my house. Got me all teary eyed. Sometimes I think this is not real. All the waiting I did is so worth it now
@JimBobCooter so happy to read your good news! Are you in awe? When I finally got the call I didn't know how to react!! Hoping for a smooth process rest of the way

@JimBobCooter I was positive to a degree but in the back of my mind I knew it probably wouldn't work on the first try. I'm hoping this is not your case!! I'm not trying to scare you...I know you realize that just from being on the TPR board. Yes this is scary.
Sending so many positives vibes to you!! It will work especially with all of our super vibe powers coming together Just think positive!

I think of you all so often! Things are good here - finally moving past the m/s I think. Last time I threw up was Friday and Saturday - and it is now Tues afternoon! And I am feeling a little less fatigued.
We leave for vacation Thurs - can't wait! And I am starting to buy maternity clothes - which is totally weird to think about and do!
Hope you are all doing great!
@JimBobCooter - I saw your news - that is awesome!!! Sept cannot come soon enough! I will have my fingers crossed for you!
Hi gals think of you all the time! @JimBobCooter great news!!
I'm 17 weeks a mango! Lol...nausea was gone and was feeling great! Today bam, threw up and tired...lol hopefully is all gone tomorrow! I was suppose to start p17 shots the 25th at next appt, but have to run them by neurologist because of epilepsy and migraines . Fluid retention from shot can make both worse. They don't want my controlled seizures to turn into a problem while pregnant. Maybe I can make dr's happy on both sides with suppositories...don't know. Baby was doing great starting to feel flutters at night. I think she is messed up with day and night! Lol....glad to hear graduates are all doing well!!
I'm always happy to read all these updates. Sounds like everyone is doing well in their pregnancies, even with all of the non-fun (read: vomit-y) stuff. Things here are good. Cramping today and wiped a miniscule amount of blood when I went to pee, which may or may not be from a shaving incident (I can't see a damn thing down there, so I have no idea), which just bought me an ultrasound and a doctor appointment tomorrow. Will be 28 weeks as of Thursday, and finally waddling in to the third trimester. It is scary how quickly things are moving now! Otherwise, our house is still mid-renovation, and my son has been extra cute as of late, so I try to be grateful for all the good moments in the chaos, especially in light of Robin Williams' passing yesterday. Blame it on hormones or oversentimentality, but I cried when I heard the news. So, trying to focus on the good stuff today.
Going to go home tonight and have my husband check out my nether bits to look for any shaving mishaps. There is no shame in pregnancy. I learned that the first time around, forgot it promptly after birth, but now am learning it again!

Hey ladies! Happy to come back and report that (so far) things are still going good. I have my first OB appt this Friday and we'll have a full u/s hopefully with a heartbeat. I haven't started the whole nausea roller coaster, but today is the first day I'm not feeling hot. Just feeling blah/heartburn and just turned off by the idea of food. Other than that, the only symptom I seem to have is just being constantly tired. By 10am I'm exhausted, I pep up a little at lunch and crash by 2pm... I drag the rest of the day until I can get home and morph into my couch.
I think of you all often and wish I could find a board as fun as this board has been. I hang out on the birth month board and they're all really a bunch of bitches there, so I still pop in and lurk.
@JimBobCooter, I'm so happy for you and FX for the month to fly by for you! It's been a snails pace for me, but I hope it zooms by for you!
It's been a while since I last updated. So happy to see some new mamas on this list!!!
I am 28 weeks now. I cannot believe it. I am still shocked that I am pregnant, if you can believe it! It took until about 5 weeks ago, but I am finally feeling better - physically, emotionally, mentally. The first half of this pregnancy was really rough for me.
Everything is going well. I feel the baby moving around a lot, she is very active, and it's starting to get uncomfortable. I hope she stays small. I hope these next 12 weeks go by fast!
@on42 Glad to see an update from you girl. I have @Samuelismomma fb stalk you for me. I miss you and am glad you are doing better. OMG you are having a baby in 12 weeks!!!! That's crazy 8-}
