Breathable bumper time!

T got her ankles stuck between the crib slats twice overnight. Looks like it's that time again. The BB makes changing sheets kind of a pain, but it is very very useful for this little slice of time when babies start rolling everywhere without the accompanying skills to avoid getting stuck.

Bonus for paci babies: it contains dropped pacifiers very effectively

Yaaawwwn. I hate trapped ankle nights.... nobody sleeps well!

I think its time here too. I watched her on the monitor during her "nap" and she managed to make an almost 180 degree turn on her back. She worked out of her a&a blanket and moved for about 20 minutes until I finally went in. I'm surprised she didn't get stuck. And I can't wait for the pacis to stop flying out of the bed at night. Haha! That's a bonus!

Lia, because it's a bumper and you're worried about suffocation and/or diminished airflow? Mine is the actual breathable bumper brand name and it is quite thin and made of a soft mesh, so I'm not worried at all. The first thing I did when I bought it years ago was stretch it over my whole face and breathe. No trouble at all! Totally different than some 2 inch thick padded monstrosity from PBK!

We have been using the breathable bumpers for a few weeks now. They work great and DS sleeps so much better when he isn't getting his legs stuck!

We're not really using sleep sacks too much in August. Just a footed one piece cotton outfit/jammies. She can roll both ways in the sack, though.

We're at this stage too. DS has gotten stuck twice in the past few nights and this morning I found him completely flipped around the opposite way. And he loves to lay sideways and push himself off the slats thus slamming his head onto the other side. He clearly thinks his crib is his second playmat/pack and play...such an active baby!

We had to put our breathable bumper up at 8 weeks when LO stuck a leg through and woke up screaming.  I tested it myself, very breathable.  It works so well.  Love it!

Just ordered this - thank you!  I have pulled DD's legs out from between the crib rails a few times in the past couple of days.
