I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem....the smart meter from our electric company has been interfering with the baby monitor. All throughout the night we hear beeps and other weird noises, it's been horrible since the meter was installed. I contacted the electric company, if we opt out of the meter, we have to pay a one time fee of $75 then another $11 per month to not have it.
Anyone have any suggestions for a baby monitor that a smart meter doesn't cause noisy interference with? I've tried to Google this but haven't had much luck.
Almost all baby monitors operate on 1 of 3 Frequencies: 900mHz, 2.4 GHz, or 5.8 GHz. Look at the label on the one you have now, and buy one that has a different frequency.
