Cute things about being due in November!

I doubt I'll be able to get out of going to Thanksgiving dinner unless there are some major recovery issues, but at the very least we won't be judged for leaving early. No one expects me to make it to my EDD of 11/2, but they didn't expect DD2 to make it to hers either so we'll see.

I'm excited about dressing all 3 girls up in matching or coordinating outfits for Christmas. I love dressing up tiny babies!

I agree with a lot of you on what I'm excited about. Another thing I can't wait for - having off work for half of college football season. Hell yeah!

DoubleUp8 I second the pumpkin beer as well as the Caffeinated pumpkin lattes  Pretty much all the PP's sum it up.

- Def the tax refund

- Not having to wait so long for our first christmas

- I work in retail so I'll be out for the dreaded 4th quarter and can actually enjoy the holidays this year - (also don't have to work the "parade" for the first time in like forever and get to watch it in a nice warm house)

and tarynleann I just might have to show my mom that hat and let her work her magic

Such a good thread! The top ones for me:

1.  Something AMAZING to be thankful for

2.  Combined birth announcements/holiday cards (we are SO bad mailing out holiday cards)

3.  Not having to travel to family for once.  The statements of, "Well, it's just the two of you" and, "You guys fly everywhere anyway, so what does it matter" are getting really really old.  We ain't traveling, you want to come see the baby, get on a plane!

4.  It being autumn by the time the last couple of months of pregnancy roll around

5.  Having all winter to snuggle with my little lima bean!

MH is totally obsessed looking at Turkey onesies!! We are due at the beginning of November and are team green, so he is also obsessing about whether we can order and get one in time for the holiday (silly dh!)

I am excited about our first Christmas as a little family

The tax deduction will be awesome since my H is a police officer and works a lot of extra duty where they don't take taxes out. I dread the visit with our accountant (is it sad that I am an accountant and pay someone to do my taxes).

Pretty much everything everyone else said too.

1. Snuggling up with my sweet boy on Saturdays! Whoop whoop... College football! And of course his football outfits.
2. We haven't had a baby in the family in 12 years? So we are all looking forward to Christmas.
3. Not wanting to travel, so family having to come to us:)
4. My sister comes home from China December 18, so she will be able to meet her nephew!

ELF HATSSSSSS. My mom and i want to go on road trips before we evacuate the east coast and take pics of baby with elf hat on in front of random tourist attractions. Don't judge me >.>

Also, painting my belly like a pumpkin for Halloween and last, but not least, this hat...

I was pregnant in the exact same time frame with DS, I'm excited for the pumpkin coffee, pumpkin muffins & pumpkin pie! 

Being biggest and most uncomfortable when the weather is cooling off is a bonus. 

DS will be 2 for Christmas this year so he'll be into ripping presents open while I snuggle the new baby girl, I can see it all now   UNLESS she is like her big brother, in that case I will be looking like crap because I haven't slept in a month and on the verge of tears because she won't stop crying...ah what are the chances of having 2 babies like that!?

Our wedding anniversary is 11/4 (3 years married, 8 years together)! Yes, such a wonderful anniversary and christmas present!

Yes, this!! We're also not having to shlep around for Xmas & have already dismissed ourselves from Thanksgiving. I'm due 11/19 and who knows when he'll come, so as to remove the holiday stress we're changing things up to fit our needs this year. I'm already more relaxed about the holidays & so excited to share it with our LO

I work retail. I'm soooooo thankful I won't be working during the holiday season. They just announced too that they are extending the hours 2 hours during November and December.

I love this post, and yes to all of the great points above!

It will be so great to enjoy this holiday season with our newborn babies. I'm due on November 10. At the end of last December, I had my 2nd miscarriage, so hopefully this upcoming New Year will be a much happier one.

Thank you! Do it! The cutest ones by far have been Baby Gap hats, the ones with the little tails. I want to get some more ridiculous ones though. Let me know if you find anything epic!
