First period after NMC and I'm freaking out

Short history - I had a MMC in March at 11 weeks, followed by a D&C. Our second BFP in June ended with a NMC on 7/7 at 6 weeks. With the second loss, I thought something was wrong - I'd started spotting and having lower back pain. The next night I started bleeding heavily and then basically had what felt like a normal period for me (mine tend to be heavy anyway).

Fast forward to yesterday, when AF appeared. On one hand, I'm glad it's here - we were cleared to start TTC again after one cycle and I'm ready to get back to it. However, I'm a wreck today. I keep thinking about the miscarriage - because it was so much like a regular period for me, now I can't seem to get through this regular period without bringing back the pain and worry. I didn't have this reaction to AF after the first loss, so I didn't expect it this time. Anyone else having issues?
