NEW TO IT ALL...

So tomorrow is my first appointment at RMA, to find out what our next steps are for conceiving our second child. First child: I was pregnant within 2 months of trying. This time we are going on 1 year and a few months. I was tested and everything is fine, but poor DH was a whole other story. He is has 1% morphology (sorry all confusing to me) .  I was told we would probably start with IUI? I don't know what to expect at this appointment and how anything works. I never thought I would be in this situation but I really want another baby and my DD to have a sibling.  Any words of advice? or any idea what to expect at this first appointment

jlnapoleon78- I encourage you to do some research before the appointment and take a list of questions with you to make the visit as productive as possible.

Hi - we don't have the same issue but, we do IUIs.  I got pg with our twins after our first IUI.  But, we have done 2 IUIs and so far no pg.  We are going to do our 3rd this month.  IUIs are really not bad!  They only take 2 minutes to complete and for me, some cramping for the following days.

Welcome and good luck!  My situation is similar to yours.  We also conceived #1 on our second cycle of trying, and have been trying unsuccessfully for #2 since January.  I just did my first IUI last month (it didn't work, obviously).   I hope it works for you, though!

My DH also has 1% morphology. We did one iui which was unsuccessful. He Janie under the care of a urologist. Not only does he have 1% morphology but his testosterone levels was low. His doctor has him on clomid 1/2 pill everyday. He goes back for a check up in about 2 weeks Good luck to u
