So guess where I'm headed this morning? Back to that car place where I witnessed a woman touching herself. Yayyyyy. My car shakes if I go above 45mph. I kind of need that taken care of.
Also, I have decided that today is the day that my H will get the call about that new job. It's definitely going to happen because I declared it so, right? RIGHT?
I am bad with these jokes, too !
My back (in a stripe right where my bra sits) is sunburned pretty badly. I have no idea how I am going to survive the day wearing a bra.
@Codypup Wasn't insurance going to fix the problem with your car?
I am super dreading work even though it should be a fun day, we're going to do third day in third grade activities. All I can think about is DH being home with the kids all day today. I'm jealous.
@Codypup Whaaaaaa? How did I miss this story? Do tires and motor oil make her hot? Bizarre.
We went out yesterday and came home to find that the dog had both peed and crapped in the toddler's room. I was pissed until my H admitted that he wasn't sure if he'd let the dog out before we left. Poor Zeus.

Take it off! Wooooooo!
I would if I could! I share an office with 3 guys, and I don't think they would appreciate it. You can bet as soon as I pick up DD from daycare and am back in the car, it is coming off!

@Codypup my h doesn't even know the word artichoke, but if he woke me at 6:30 with a computer nerd thing, I'd kill him.
My H once woke me up from a nap because he got an item he wanted for his character on World of Warcraft. I think it would've been justifiable homicide.

Gosh magenta, you're so rude. That is important!
Whhyyyyyy are H's so dumb sometimes?
It was a helmet with moose antlers on it. He grabbed me and yelled "Mooooose!" I almost peed myself.

WTAF? If my h did that, he would be dead.
I've got to find a way to raise my son so he doesn't turn into a moron.
@Codypup Wasn't insurance going to fix the problem with your car?
@iwubrory - I got a check from her insurance company. We think this issue is completely unrelated. I'm still deciding whether or not to fix my bumper, but I definitely need my car to stop shaking if I go above 45mph. They're looking at it now and will let me know if it's tied to the accident, in which case, I'll take the estimate back to her insurance co.
@magentawarped - um yeah it was a disturbing afternoon. This woman straight up had her pants unzipped and was itching herself in the waiting room. I'm still traumatized.
DH isn't quite getting the concept of me needing a 30min warning when he's going somewhere. I don't mind that he goes out to do random things/projects on his days off, but I need that 30min to run around the house and do anything that can't be done with the two little ones around all day ... Like shower.
I've told him a million times, but he still gets mad when he pops the "I'm leaving" on me and I tell him that no, it can wait while I do XYZ. If he just said, "hey, at 7:30, I'm going to go to the garage for the morning" at 6:30 when we woke up, no problem.
I just spent twenty minutes deciding what LO and I are wearing to story hour. Now I'm second guessing my choice because the only clean nursing bra I have is black and I don't want to be *that* mom.
@utpony I can relate with #3 completely because it happened here last weekend. I can't even go in the other room to make a phone call without DH bringing LO in, but he can take a three hour pout-nap. I hope your h apologizes and does something to redeem himself.
We have a new mother that just returned to work so she has been scheduled into the pumping room right before me. She runs late every.single.day. Do you really need 45 minutes in there? I try to be flexible because I know how hard it is when you first come back to work but I'm tired of waiting. :!!
@DreamingBabies got it! I just got into a fight with MIL because I let LO take a nap when she was tired. She told me that I should have made her sleep at a more "convenient" time for everyone. Oh. Okay.
Baby boy was still sleeping this morning when I left so no morning snuggles... and I'm working extra hours tonight so he'll be asleep before I get home... An entire day without snuggles :o3 (

@ShellBell3845 : I also spent longer than I should have figuring out what to wear to storytime today. In the end my lazy ass just put on shorts and a t-shirt. I'll have to pick out something cute for LO when he wakes up.
@Utpony : Good luck with both parts of your second bullet point. I'm sorry your H withdrew.
I am ready for it to be Wednesday. MH is working 12 hour shifts Mon-Tues and Thurs-Fri. I am looking forward to his off day, even though we'll probably spend it getting crap done (hauling in recyclables, mowing, etc). After two days of torture (aka wearing a bra on a sunburned back), I am ready for the off day!

Story hour is over, and LO fell asleep on the 2 minute car ride home. He's currently sleeping in the crib. I'm hoping for a nice long nap. I, on the other hand, am doing a mountain of laundry and waiting for the exterminator. We have a bee issue outside that is making my H crazy. I'm policing the driveway until the exterminator arrives because ain't nobody going to ring my doorbell and end naptime.
@katybriggs I'll be looking for a LO-activated mobile. I don't care if I hear it on the monitor. If it helps him help himself rather than me going into activate his mobile, I will pay all the money.
MH has been traveling a bunch for work, so I've been on solo parenting duty a bunch. It's been fine, and I have a TON of support from family so I'm really lucky for that.
I'm still debating coming into work early on Wednesday so I can leave early to get a pedi while LO is still at DC to "treat myself", even though I know tons of people do this all the time without reward or complaint. ;-)
We're going out to dinner with two of MH's work friends and their new fiancees. I'm friendly with one girl and the other seems very sweet (we're FB friends but haven't met in person, I know it's weird). But they're both like 25 and skinny and adorable. I'm going to be the old, fat one.

Omg... my friend is 37 weeks right now. The doc is calculating a big baby (but we all know how inaccurate that is) people are recommending castor oil. ~X( I hope she doesn't listen ... I don't want to be the B that posts how unsafe that is...
Just tell her about the laxative effect. Who isn't scared of a poopsplosion on the OB's face?
Canadian moms -- I just scored on Amazon.ca again! I've had the fisher price aquarium on my wish list for months, but it never hoes on sale. Yesterday it was on for $40, reg $50. This morning I was thinking about it and decided yo order it if it was still on sale. It was on for $20! 60% off!! Score!
@codypup fingers crossed your H hears something soon and that a great job becomes available for you.
Daycare just called and said DD has to be picked up. DH is on his way. This will be the first time he's been alone with her when she's sick. I hope that they both survive until I make it home late, after work, tonight.
Speaking of castor oil...after 3 false alarms, and 5 days after her due date...my brother's girlfriend just got admitted to L&D!
She's been texting me non stop. Poor girl is so done and so ready to have this baby.
My brother is...my brother. I keep reciting "it's not my life it's not my life" in my head to prevent me from flipping out on him. There's nothing I can do to control the situation, so I'm just trying to be supportive to his GF and help where I can.
@Copypup if your suspension is the reason for the vibration is supper important to get fixed. You don't want your wheel to drive past you when you hit the brakes. Is there a home mechanic that you trust that can do it. It isn't a complicated repair.
**carb alert**
I am making stir fry tonight. Pineapple teriyaki for him, pad thai for me. I don't know why but I want to make bread to go with it. But what 'flavor'?
I'm also making English muffin bread and chibatta , so I feel like it should have some flavor.
