PSA target.com is on my shit list

If I could shout from the rooftops, I would.

A year or so we purchased 2 night stands from target.com, loved them. I recently decided to buy the matching dresser, made my husband assemble is, and unfortunately hate it. I attempted to return the item in store today, they said it's return by mail only, and I can get a packing slip for shipping online

The dresser is already assembled, it weighs over 100lbs, it is 5ftx3ftx1.5 feet - where the hell am I supposed to get a box for that?! How do I package that? Target in store said sorry no exceptions. Target online said the same.

They said I could use the same box it came in - do I like like Santa's little elf? I have no idea how you squeeze all that crap in those boxes.

F you target.com F you and your crappy furniture. And your shitty return policy.

Re: PSA target.com is on my shit list

  • Me too, I've never had an issue with target prior to this, but I also never tried returning furniture before.

It is 100% returnable... By mail only. I just have no idea how to do that. And though they'll pay for shopping I don't know how to package it, and I sure as hell don't want to spend $$$ on a massive box and packing material.

  • @CeeShellz‌ they told me to put it on the original box to send back but if I disassemble it I will without a doubt break it/damage it and it won't be reuse-able. Then I'm concerned they wouldn't accept it
