What bug spray is safe? I need specific brand names. I'm going camping next weekend. Thanks!

  • As long as it is DEET free, you are okay. Oh, and it is better to spray it on your clothes vs body

  • Been having the same problem. Used the regular Off with deet on my clothes only, but there is times when its too hot for the sweatshirt and pants. So... spent $10 on a bottle of Off Botanicals. Doesnt work worth a crap. Guess I'll keep looking around, we're at the lake all the time.

I use the strongest effing Deep Woods Off I can possibly find.
The other stuff doesn't do shit against the mutant mosquitos of MN.  They look at CA baby bug spray and babyganics and all that crap and go, "challenge accepted".

  • The dangers of dengue and chingkungunya (sp?) esp for pregnant women makes me reach for off bug spray. Nothing works better. I tryi to just spray it on my clothes.
