Bad milk

I recently thawed some milk and tried it prior to giving to my LO and it was bad. It was only frozen for 2 months and it was thawed by hot/ warm water and only out for about. Half hour. Had this happened to anyone before? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. The BM is stored in the back of the freezer. BTW bad BM is probably the worst thing I've ever tasted so I'm glad I tried it before trying to give to LO! Thanks in advance

Bad as in sour and spoiled tasting? Or soapy? Doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. Hmm, did it sit in the fridge for a few days before it was frozen?

Bad like sour. No it was taken from freezer and thawed. I'm hoping maybe my DH just miscalculated the time it was out because we have done this once before and it turned out ok...

I'm thinking it was out longer than you thought. I haven't had any problems.... Just used some yesterday that was from May. Maybe test another bag you have? Better to know now there's a problem so you could address vs being in need and not having anything safe on reserve!
