Basal thermometer

Hi all! I just recently started temping but my thermometer isn't back-lit, so it's nearly impossible to read at 5:30 in the morning. What brand do you all recommend? How pricey is it? I've seen price ranges all over the place!

    Ugh this is a problem i have temping (i just started too)

    Mine isn't so much that i need light...cause I'm lucky enough to wake at like 8 am........but i am BLIND without contacts!!!! I can't see it!

    My husband has tons of those tiny flashlights, I stuck them together on my nightstand. I would try not to flash it near DH and wake him. Worked great for me, good luck!

    I bought Reli-on at WalMart for around $6.  It has no light, but it recalls the last temp.  So, when I'm temping, I temp, turn it off, and go back to sleep.  After I'm up for the day, I turn it on and it displays the temp from that morning.

    I actually don't have glasses. They are so ridiculously expensive and insurance pays for one or the other but barely covers half the cost for glasses.....it still ends up costing me over $200. I should have both its just hard to spend the money when there are so many other things....

    I use my cell phone as my light. ;)

    @lgsdesigner: This is also what I do. It's as annoying as hell and sometimes makes me more awake.

    I just started as well and noticed the same thing. I use my cell phone to make sure its on and use recall to record when I am up
