At least DH understands me...

So today was just a bad IF day all around. I just had a shitty day and DH knew, but he closes tonight at work so I found myself at home alone from about 5 PM on...

So DH just calls to ask how I'm doing and to let me know he would be home soon.

DH-"blah blah blah work blah blah......so what have you been doing to keep yourself occupied"
Me-"I'm singing karaoke."
DH-"...by yourself?"
Me-"yes. You interrupted my performance of Torpedo. The kitten seems to be quite pleased."
DH-"so....should I pick you up another bottle of wine?"

That man is a damn psychic, I tell you. I just so happen to be using my empty bottle as my mic.

I'll take this as a successful start to a better weekend! Happy weekending ladies! :-)

March 2008 - DD born - no issues conceiving (surprise). Limited issues during pregnancy/delivery.
June 2011 - Married DH.
June 2013 - Diagnosis of Endometriosis and PCOS (approximate).
December 2013 - First cycle of Clomid - Positive OPK. BFN
January 2014 - 2nd Cycle of Clomid - Positive OPK. BFN
February 2014 - 3rd Cycle of Clomid - Positive OPK. BFN
March 2014 - Took month off to prep for surgery
April 2014 - Laporoscopy for endo. Unable to remove endo due to too close of proximity to ureter. HSG done as well. Fillopian tubes open.
May 2014 - 1st round of Femara. Positive OPK. BFN.
June 2014 - 2nd round of Femara. Moved to RE to have CD10 Follicular U/S. No Follies in left ovary. 5 follies in right. Largest follie 8mm, 1 7mm, 2 3mm, 1 2mm. Positive OPK on day of U/S. BFN. DH has SA done at this time - All results within normal limits.
July 2014 - 3rd round of Femara. CD10 Follicular U/S. No follies in left ovary. 7 follies in right. 1 20mm, 1 12mm, 1 10mm, 4 <5mm. Scheduled for IUI. Canceled due to low estrogen level of 145. TI this month. Prepping for Injectables next month. BFN.
August 2014 - CD3 BW Normal. Injectables not happening because of stupid miscommunication about "required injectables class." Taking class this month. No medication. TI for the month. SIS scheduled for 8/7/14. SIS results - "I have a beautiful uterus." Huzzah!
September 2014 - Cycle cancelled due to stupid AF coming early and making my IUI run in to DH's business trip. Try again next month.
October 2014 - Injects with IUI cycle. 75U 5 days. Estrogen at 36. Bumped up to 125 for 4 days. Estrogen 105. Bumped up to 225. Ganirelix for 2 days. 4 mature follies. Triggered 10/9. IUI 10/10.
BFP 10/24/2014. Beta #1 - 178   Beta #2 - 398.   U/S 11/7/14- TWINS!!!!

    That's hilarious! If you have Amazon Prime, I just discovered that their new included music also includes 1000s of karaoke versions. :)

    @BunnyBerry‌ ....what.....how did I not know this??? YouTube is disappointing me. How mad do you think my DH could possibly be if I rationalized spending $100 (or whatever it is) for karaoke? :-D

    Convince him it's for free 2-day shipping on all those things guys buy...it works on MH :)

    BTW - our plan is to turn the basement into a karaoke room. Got the lighting and sound so far!  Hope the neighbors don't mind too much....

    Awesome!!

    As far as an excuse for amazon prime, def tell him for the 2 day shipping. I use mine to buy all my PNV, ubiquinol, skinny pop (I can't find the cheddar cheese in stores here). I also use it to buy everything because things are cheaper. My glucose monitor was $5 on amazon ....$20 at the pharmacy. The test strips are $89 at the pharmacy and $13 on amazon. I bought all my exterior lights on amazon because they are cheaper than Home Depot. I use my amazon app to check prices when shopping.

    As an added benefit I get movies and you can get music. Win win!!!

    I definitely had an entire bottle of wine the other night. To myself. Along with half a Ben and Jerry's. WOOO. And I have another bottle of wine waiting for me when I need it :)

    I discovered karaoke on study abroad in China - it's pretty cool, in a glamorous private room with only your own friend group, and big screen music videos that you order with a little terminal. Lots of beer and snacks, Lol. 

    I'm afraid we'll have to choose between recreating that atmosphere in the partially finished basement, or turning it into more of a play room, but that is a sacrifice I'd be happy to make!

    We're lucky to have a couple Asian-style karaoke places nearby. It's too expensive, but there are midnight-to-7am deals. I have to admit, there is nothing quite like singing from bedtime to breakfast. :)

    Hahaha! How awesome it is that your DH gets you. My husband doesn't drink so when I do he looks at me like he's about to drive me to an AA meeting :/
