Did anyone else who has Aetna insurance has difficulty having their RPL testing covered? My initial testing was covered a few months ago (tested for beta2 glycoproteins, TSH, DRVVT, cardiolipin) but after this most recent loss we did more testing and the following tests are not being covered because they are "considered experimental and exploratory":
Homocysteine, factor V Leiden, prothrombin mutation, and 2 others which I think are antithrombin and ??
Right now I'm left with a bill for $1208 which I did not expect at all. That's on top of the $550 I paid for the last D&E......and I'm still awaiting the bill for the Natera chromosomal testing( however I've heard that you can make a deal with Natera and pay just $100). It just never ends!
