Hi! I seriously just noticed this board and am so happy to see it here. I'm a mom of two LOs. The first turned 2 last month. The second is 3 months old. I'm active on the Working Moms board mainly. Both my kids were (or are) formula fed. And for us it was by far the best decision. I'm so happy to have a safe place to say, for women who are struggling with breastfeeding, "There is nothing immoral, wrong, or negligent about formula feeding your baby." My two year old is incredibly advanced for her age (she uses words like delicious and precious and inappropriate correctly) and has never been on antibiotics. She's had 2 colds in 2 years. I'm quite certain she was not stunted by eating formula. Oh, and she's in the 90th percentile for height and the 26th for weight, putting her BMI at the 5th percentile, so she's also not overweight. So all my mommy-guilt fears were for naught. I'm hoping I can offer a little voice of reason and experience to first time formula feeders, which I wish I'd had 2 years ago.
