Good Morning & Happy Friday Ladies!
How many weeks? How big is baby, what fruit/vegetable?
29 weeks / acorn squash
Any recent appointments? Exciting news? Things to rant/rave about?
We have an OB appointment this coming Thursday & I'm actually excited to see how I'm measuring, weird, I know! Last time I was measuring 4 1/2 wks ahead! We also had two classes this week & two next week. They have been very helpful & informative thus far!
GTKY: How the summer weather been treating you this pregnancy?
So far so good! Our temps have been milder by comparison this year, no complaints from me!
ETA: apparently I don't know the difference between a butternut & acorn squash!

How many weeks? How big is baby, what fruit/vegetable?
32 weeks - I think I am some sort of squash again.
Any recent appointments? Exciting news? Things to rant/rave about?
No appointment until Monday. I am a little anxious because my OB is pregnant as well and is going on maternity leave before I am due. I am in love with my OB, so I am a little sad I have to switch - but oh well. Originally, they switched me to a doctor in the practice that I do not get along with (great doc, I am sure, just her bedside manner is not for me). Recently, they opened up someone else who could take over my case instead, but I have been waiting to switch until her schedule is available - I just want that done! I just feel like I am in limbo!
GTKY: How the summer weather been treating you this pregnancy?
Lucky for me, it has been kinda mild here - so I really can't complain. There have only been a few miserable days - and then I just set up B's pool and stick my feet in it while he plays.
How many weeks? How big is baby, what fruit/vegetable? 29 weeks, acorn squash
Any recent appointments? Exciting news? Things to rant/rave about? Had my first every 2 week OB appt on Monday, everything looked good then.
GTKY: How the summer weather been treating you this pregnancy? I'm glad it hasn't been too hot this summer. The summer after DS was born 3 years ago was horrendous (it would still be 90 degrees at 4 in the AM), so I'm glad this summer has been a nice break.
I am 29 weeks, baby is the size of an Acorn squash (makes me think of thanksigving. I love acorn squash hehe
No recent appointments other than one for a possible bladder infection last week. I have my 30 week Appointment on Thursday.
This summer has been really rainy or hot and humid, I feel like I haven't been able to enjoy it to it's fullest because when it is humid I feel so winded and then obviously when it is rainy you can't do too much to enjoy the weather.
I had an appointment yesterday. Took my gtt again. I gained a lot of weight since last appt I'm only at 15lbs up though so they weren't really concerned but it did make me feel like crap. Measuring on track. I have an ultrasound next week I'm excited for though.
This is our first and last summer in this area for now so I don't know what to compare it to for the area. But I think it's a pretty mild summer. Swings between like 70-80 with some wind so I really think it's not bad at all. Considering last pregnancy I was also due in oct and was in south tx in their hottest summer recently recorded I feel like anything less I can totally handle.
How many weeks? How big is baby, what fruit/vegetable? 32 weeks today! So apparently a squash that looks sorta like a pumpkin, but probably isn't. Or, according to my Baby Centre app, as long as a stalk of kale.
Any recent appointments? Exciting news? Things to rant/rave about? I just got back from my 32 week appointment. Down to every 2 weeks now and I'll have the GBS swab next time. Boo for that. My fundal height has been measuring a few cm behind for the last little bit, but I think it's mostly because she's kinda diagonal in there. I've been doing inversions for the last few nights trying to get her more upright, but there's hasn't been much change.
GTKY: How the summer weather been treating you this pregnancy? Surprisingly well. I'm very thankful that this has been a cool summer. H and I are both standing up in SILs wedding 2 weeks from now, and I'm reallllllllllly hoping it's a pleasant day.
How many weeks? How big is baby, what fruit/vegetable? 31 weeks - pineapple
Any recent appointments? Exciting news? Things to rant/rave about? Had my a first biweekly appointment this week and got to see the baby. She's looking great and I'm clear for attempting a vaginal deliver (had been diagnosed with placenta previa but it's moved out of the way now). I also have started feeling her a lot more in the last couple of days. I can tell she is bigger because now I feel her moving around, not just kicking or punching.
GTKY: How the summer weather been treating you this pregnancy? It's not been too bad. We've only had a handful of days above 90 degrees and monsoon season has helped keep our temps comfortable enough. I'm so grateful for that.

Exciting news?
Headed out of town next week for a 'babymoon' of sorts.. we are going hiking and resting
Things to rant/rave about?
not really..
GTKY: How the summer weather been treating you this pregnancy?
Texas summer (in Austin at least) has been so mild that I have barely seen any swelling. Last time I was pregnant we had one of the hottest summers and it was miserable.. I had my baby at the end of June so it wasn't so bad, but if this summer had been like that one I would be such a complainer lol.
When were you pregnant last @11kacey ? I was pregnant in 2011. Ds was born oct 1st and when we took him home from the hospital it was still 85ish degrees. That summer was so freaking miserable. Even the pool was like warm tub water and not refreshing at all.
Had an US yesterday and was super excited to get 3D pics but she was back to the camera (but head down!) so no pics at all! Let alone the regular profile pics. Oh, well..... I'm going every week from now on, so I'm hoping that at some point we will get a good shot of her! If, not, we will see the real live version of her soon enough! Yay!
Having my first shower tomorrow, can't wait to see some super important and special people in my life!
This summer by Maine standards, has been pretty amazing! Some crazy hot days for us (in the high 80s) but we have one of those ghetto pools, so I take advantage of that! I'm in the midst of planning my BFFs bridal shower and Bach party - so that is keeping me occupied, the wedding is one week and six days before due date...... Gah!!!! Fingers crossed!!!

How many weeks? How big is baby, what fruit/vegetable? 31 weeks, apparently a pineapple.
Any recent appointments? Exciting news? Things to rant/rave about? I went to the dr. this week and all's good but then we took our daughter in and she's on antibiotics now for strep throat and an ear infection. Hopefully, I don't get that!
GTKY: How the summer weather been treating you this pregnancy It's hot but summer only lasts so long in BC so, I've been attempting to enjoy it!
