Our diaper pail is a POS and we're getting a new one this weekend. We purchased the Dekor from Buy buy Baby and it's terrible. Since he'll be in diapers for a while still (we won't be pushing potty training until he's ready) I wanted to ask this group for recommendations.
There's a new one I saw at BRU that each diaper goes into a sealed bag...anyone have this? Does it work well?
We have an Ubbi pale and we like it. It's just in his actual room where we rarely change his diaper so we only change it when it's full (every 3-4 weeks maybe?) It seems to do a good job. Once it was really smelly because my husband forgot to take it out for over a month. We use regular garbage bags with the odor shield and after each change I give a quick squirt of Lysol. We got it in grey so it will go in any future baby's room.
We bought a tommee tippee that seals each diaper. We'll only use it for poop diapers. Our other one sucked so bad that we convinced ourselves to try something totally different.
Regular trash can. I flush poop down the toilet so no issues with smells.

We use just a regular trash can too. The garbage goes out at least once a day so smell hasn't been an issue. We just bag the poopy ones with the left over plastic bags from the supermarket before we put it in the trash can.
We use a regular trash can with a lid and foot pedal. It's small and we empty it every 1-2 days. We do bag poopy diapers though before putting it in the can.
I like the febreeze smell. We usually stick a dryer sheet or 3 in the trash can.

Another vote for the Diaper Genie Elite! You can buy the Target or generic bags that are cheaper to save a little money. Our dog will find a way to get into a regular trash can, so this works great for us.
