IF/IVF Anthem?

So I know I'm going to sound like a hippie new age nutcase, but I'm really buying into the whole positive affirmations, visualizations, etc. and accessing everything positive that I can. I go off BC on Aug 17th and then head into IVF#2. 

I'm curious if any of you have suggestions for an inspiring or uplifting song that I can associate with this IVF cycle. I don't mean the sappy sad infertility songs, but the ones that make you feel invincible and positive. I know, I know - seriously cheesy. But just bear with me?

PS - I am soooo sick of Katy Perry's "Roar". Please no.

*unexplained infertility* 

Regularly access alternative medicine to supplement a lack of resources in our geographical area.
  • Three rounds of clomid (50mg days 3-7) were useless.
  • IUI#1 w/clomid & HCG in May 2013, BFN.
  • IUI#2 w/clomid & HCG on July 23rd. BFN.
  • IUI #3 in August cancelled last minute, due to lab error.
  • IVF#1 - Started Gonal F stims October 13 2013 for IUI. Over-responded with too many follicles, so converted to IVF. Retrieval October 29th - got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized. Had 2 perfect little embryos transferred on day 3 (Nov. 1). The remaining 2 didn't survive to freeze. Got our BFN on November 13th 2013.
  • IVF#2 - Started stims August 21st. Triggered with Suprefact, started on dostinex due to risk of OHSS. Retrieval September 5th - got 27 eggs! 21 embryos on day 3. Embryos deteriorated quickly. ESet 5day blast on Sept 10. No embryos high enough quality to freeze. BFN came Sept. 22.

Reserved a semi-known proven donor in August .

Waiting for consult/screening and protocols with estimated fresh cycle timing in October

    I'm not sure that it's an if/ivf anthem but I really like "I'm on top of the world" by imagine dragons. It's on my playlist for when I swim (underwater earphones for the win!)

    Sara Barielles 's  'Hercules' and of course 'Brave'. Those are my go to's right now.

    Me: 27 Dh: 35 Testing Begins 3/5/13
    Six SA's show DH has low numbers across the board = severe MFI
    Genetic testing for me = MTHFR+, also carrier for blood clotting disorder Otherwise all else normal
    Dh's karotype= Normal!!
     Mini-IVF/ICSI - July -August 2014 - 1R,M,&F Transferred 1 Grade 1 Morula-5dt - BFFN

    IVF prep September 2013 cancelled due to Ovarian Cyst
    IVF #1 October 2013 Antagonistic Protocol with ICSI  ER 10/31/13 (18R 16M 11F- 6 blasts to freeze)
    ET delayed due to OHSS 
    FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!)
    FET #1 8/5/14 sET BFN

    "Counting Stars" by One Republic was always on during my ride to ER and I realized just how apropos that song was to IVF. It's not a great anthem but it's true, hope is our 4 letter word!

    The Dixie Chicks - So Hard


    Me 27 DH 29 Married since 2007, together since 2001
    Off BC since Febuary 2006 3 Clomid Cycles in 2008- symptomatic, US just showed a tilted uterus, otherwise normal, HSG normal.  DH has an ejaculatory duct obstruction and a congenital absence of the vas deferens.  This is common with cystic fibrosis carriers, but he doesn't have cystic fibrosis. IVF #1 with TESE/ICSI (Antagonist protocol) Aug 2014=BFN (poor embryo quality)   IVF #2 ICSI long lupron protocol November 2014

    Random update that first of all, I loved your suggestions! Now when any of these songs come on, it reminds me of you ladies.

    I had to share that I bought Sara Bareilles's newest album and I've found TWO good anthems for myself. I like "I Choose You" because I think of us carefully selecting our perfect embryos (okay, maybe the lab does that, but still - I feel like we're choosing more than a natural PG) and she has a great one called "Hercules" about being a warrior and asking for strength. If you haven't heard it, stick it out through the first verse... the chorus is really awersome and anthem-like. Anyways, definitely might not be anyone else's tastes, but I found my IVF Theme Songs!
