My RE likes to pay compliments apparently...

She told me I have a really pretty uterus, and that I should put it in a text book.

So she might be a creep...but I'm cool with it if it gets me KTFU.

But anyways, I had my SIS today. Everything looked great. Scheduled for my hour and a half long class on injectables in 2 weeks (really...) and then injectables start next month. Still annoyed about feeling like I wasted a month due to their miscommunications, but hey...at least I have a pretty uterus, right?

I suppose there really wasn't much of a point to this post other than to keep me from working. I hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday :)

March 2008 - DD born - no issues conceiving (surprise). Limited issues during pregnancy/delivery.
June 2011 - Married DH.
June 2013 - Diagnosis of Endometriosis and PCOS (approximate).
December 2013 - First cycle of Clomid - Positive OPK. BFN
January 2014 - 2nd Cycle of Clomid - Positive OPK. BFN
February 2014 - 3rd Cycle of Clomid - Positive OPK. BFN
March 2014 - Took month off to prep for surgery
April 2014 - Laporoscopy for endo. Unable to remove endo due to too close of proximity to ureter. HSG done as well. Fillopian tubes open.
May 2014 - 1st round of Femara. Positive OPK. BFN.
June 2014 - 2nd round of Femara. Moved to RE to have CD10 Follicular U/S. No Follies in left ovary. 5 follies in right. Largest follie 8mm, 1 7mm, 2 3mm, 1 2mm. Positive OPK on day of U/S. BFN. DH has SA done at this time - All results within normal limits.
July 2014 - 3rd round of Femara. CD10 Follicular U/S. No follies in left ovary. 7 follies in right. 1 20mm, 1 12mm, 1 10mm, 4 <5mm. Scheduled for IUI. Canceled due to low estrogen level of 145. TI this month. Prepping for Injectables next month. BFN.
August 2014 - CD3 BW Normal. Injectables not happening because of stupid miscommunication about "required injectables class." Taking class this month. No medication. TI for the month. SIS scheduled for 8/7/14. SIS results - "I have a beautiful uterus." Huzzah!
September 2014 - Cycle cancelled due to stupid AF coming early and making my IUI run in to DH's business trip. Try again next month.
October 2014 - Injects with IUI cycle. 75U 5 days. Estrogen at 36. Bumped up to 125 for 4 days. Estrogen 105. Bumped up to 225. Ganirelix for 2 days. 4 mature follies. Triggered 10/9. IUI 10/10.
BFP 10/24/2014. Beta #1 - 178   Beta #2 - 398.   U/S 11/7/14- TWINS!!!!

    Congrats on your pretty internal lady parts! My dr always tells me how beautiful my ovaries are during u/s!

    This post is hilarious. I've heard my doctor say my ute was gorgeous before. I'd much rather he say it's in perfect working order. I'm looking forward to the day I can stop sorting it to everyone.

    May 2018 after long period of not trying, starting adoption process with family friend's newborn

    Yay for a pretty ute! The closest I got after my HSG was "everything looks perfect" so...not gorgeous but that's okay. Sorry you have to wait for the injects class.

    That's awesome! Got to love a doc who tries to keep things light!

    First RE visit due to irregular periods: June 2014
    Lap/Hysto to remove polyps, cyst and tube blockage 11/6
    Cycle 1 (Dec. 2014) TI with Clomid, Trigger, & Progesterone CX due to no response
    Impatiently Waiting CD1 to try again with Fermara Back on the bench due to giant cyst,
    who know I'd ovulate on my own after a cancelled cycle and end up with a mega cyst :(

    That was pretty much what my jerk of a response was (unintentionally). I responded with "what article would it be in? Having good looking lady parts that are apparently in perfect working order but still not being able to conceive? *large grin*"

    Honestly we haven't been told the names of the drugs yet. My RE said she was going to check my insurance benefits and see what would be least costly out of pocket while still being the most effective and get me the info hopefully by the time I take the class. So we shall see.
    I am very grateful to have any benefits at all, but it still makes me nervous. I'm that girl that logs on to my pharmacy IN the dr office to see my estimated cost of a prescription haha. I'm just super frugal so IF has been a hard pill to swallow (pun intended) ;-)

    I second what @Rumbera28 said (without the hilarious pics to illustrate)!  ;)  My ute is riddled with fibroids and far from your gorgeous model perfect one.  I'm super jelly!  

    But my RE did say my right (and only) ovary looked perfect.  "The little guy is just chilling there.  Very mellow with no issues."  Yayyy ....all is not lost.

    Me - Left salpingo-oophorectomy at 19 due to large cyst/torsion  and 2 large uterine fibroids found at age 30
    Him - Borderline low sperm count (correcting through Fertility Blend supplement)

    TTC #1 since Jan 2013
    First appointment with RE 10/2013.  
    April 2014 - Clomid 100mg CD3-7.  HCG shot CD10 IUI #1 done on 4/12/14 (CD12) ....BFN
    May 2014 - Break cycle to repeat saline sonogram and re-group.  Travel to Kauai 5/7-5/12 (Yay!!)
    June 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD4-8.  HCG shot CD14.  IUI#2 done on 6/9 and 6/10 (CD15-16) w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW .... BFN
    July 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD3-7.  Ultrasound CD12 - 4 mature follies! HCG trigger shot CD12 AM.  IUI#3 on CD13 w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW ....BFN
    July 2014 - Repeat ultrasound done to measure size of fibroid - 8x9cm (the size of a grapefruit!) Surgery referral made.
    August 2014 - MRI done which revealed 2 fibroids: a 13x15cm fibroid as well as an 8x7cm one.  Super freak out mode over surgery plan.  OB-GYN/surgeon said surgery would most likely have to be a laparotomy (open abdominal surgery)
    August 2014 - After a 2nd opinion, plan to take Lupron x 2 months to shrink fibroids then laparoscopic/robotic myomectomy.  Surgery date is set for Nov 21st!  
    November 2014 - Robotic myomectomy done (2 large fibroids removed, mild endo found).  Benched x 3 months

    I had a OBGYN years ago tell me I had a beautiful cervix after having a colposcopy done. But I'm sure she was BSing. I don't think a cervical erosion makes for a pretty cervix. Unless it was a textbook quality cervical erosion lol

    My new RE said my uterus was textbook perfect for only having the left side. So I said my uterus is like the beauty queen that is just mean and dumb. She looks great but totally useless....it was kind of funny when he actually agreed.
    Me: +35 DH: +35
    TTC: Since January 2013 
    DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13
    TX: Metformin
    DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility
    Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU. 
    HSG showed clear tube on the left side. 
    Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)
    • IUI# 1 June 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 13: BFN
    • IUI#2  July 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 5.75: BFN
    • Natural Cycle - so shocked to be in 2WW - 7dpo Progesterone: 15.5: BFN
    • Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
    • IUI #3 August 2014  w/ Menopur: BFN
    • Finally ovulating on my own!!
    Waiting to start IVF hopefully

    I had a Dr tell my my colon looked good after a colonoscopy .... Yeah fucking me, great reminder you just shoved a tube with a camera on the end up my ass. :-)

    Oh I love this thread! My RE told me I had beautiful ovaries and tons of pretty eggs! Too bad those gorgeous ovaries won't release any of those pretty eggs!!! X(
