My Update (low amh, OAR results)

Ladies, I can't thank ya'll enough for all of the support I got last week when I got my OAR/AMH numbers that weren't looking so hot. Ya'll really helped me when I was in a really dark place. That being said- my appointment to discuss it was today with the RE.

He didn't really harp on the numbers...he just basically said that I have limited time to concieve. He said the fact that I have gotten pregnant 3 times on my own is a great sign and the 2 early losses could have very well been a bad egg due to my score. He said that my scores were in no way a death sentence to our journey and that he has had tons of patients with bad scores go on to have babies. All that being said he said I really need to consider moving on to IVF before 2014 is over...I asked if I could do a few iui's and they said it was up to me but they are strongly recommending I move on to ivf soon. He said with my history and with my scores that he couldn't give me any sort of percentage of it working...he just said it would either work or it wouldn't.

So, for some reason I feel a whole lot better after talking to him...whereas when I got my results last week I felt all gloom and doom. I still know that this could very well be a very expensive hole we jump into and get no baby out of but today I do feel hopeful. All that being said, I responded really well to my first clomid cycle (I've been doing femara) and I am going to trigger tonight and have an IUI on Saturday...we had some good looking follies so if you have some extra t's and p's I would love some that this cycle would just work out and that there is a good egg inside one of them.
