Re: *** 3rd Tri Checkin - 8/06/2014 ***
QOTW: So I did that thing where I asked a question that I don't really know how to answer! I guess one good childhood memory was going "down the shore" in the summers - I grew up in PA and we'd go to the Jersey shore. Now I live in LA so I do expect we'll take Munchkin to the beach, even though it's a different shore from the one I went to as a kid
Next appointment is Friday. NST and normal appointment again I guess.
My Strep-B test was Negative so I'm happy about that!
Still feeling tired and irritable and still have lots to do before LO arrives!
QOTW: I have a lot but mostly just playing outside. So yes, I plan on telling him to get out of the house and go play outside! (and give me some peace and quiet for a minute!)

Me:Hypothyroid DH: Type II diabetic. Together since 03/2007, Married 10/2011, D/C bc 10/2011. TTC: 11/2011. Charted BBT and CV along with OPK 10/2011-02/2012 Baseline labs 02/2012 WNL, SA 03/2012: botched sample by lab - destroyed hubby's confidence. 04/2012 Clomid 05/2012 Clomid 06/2012 Clomid 07/2012 Clomid and Ovidrel 08/2012 Ovidrel (I never knew that I was supposed to be monitored while on meds...I never was. I asked for u/s and other tests to see why we weren't getting pregnant, doc just kept giving me meds and telling me to go to his church for a "laying of hands") Stopped all monitoring/testing/temps, etc, Sex became a chore and we started to grow apart. At 12 mos I decided to look for another doc. 02/2013 consult with new doc....3 days later testing began...u/s, all good, HSG: all good, labs: all good, ovulating, etc. Started on Pregnitude. 04/2013 failed attempt for SA, 05/2013 failed attempt SA. 12/2013 SA: 3% morph, abnormal functionality. DH started Pycnogenol. RE consult 01/15/2014.

Upcoming appointments? NST on Friday, Regular and high risk OB on Monday. Will get another growth scan.
Any updates to share? c/s is officially scheduled 8/16!! I feel good about our decision to do a section.
How are you feeling? I was feeling OK and then my parents came to town (they live on opposite coast). I really appreciate having my Mom's help but my Dad and I have always had problems, and he's stressing me out. And then I also get frustrated with my Mom b/c she doesn't do anything to "protect" me from him. So today I am really emotional (I'm sure hormones aren't helping) and tired. I'm trying to come up with a plan to deal with my Dad but I'm frustrated that I even have to deal with that when I've got so much else going on. DH is being great.
I am 29 weeks today. I feel so heavy in the front. My belly just shot forward, As my mom said our Lil guy has popped!! Lol. I've been going crazy this week. My sister's baby shower is Saturday so I've been traveling back and forth (my family is an hour away) all week. I'm exhausted.
As far as updates, after hanging in labor & delivery Thursday night due to the dog "saying hi", we were back Friday night. We had our 3 week check up Friday, the doc said I failed the 1 hour glucose test and I need to do 3 hour (I took yesterday, waiting on results). She then tried to find the heart beat on the doppler and couldn't. She said she might have but wanted to be sure so she sent us to labor & delivery again to get on a monitoring strip for 20 minutes. We get to hospital they can't find the heart beat either. 4 people all tried. After the first 2 or 3 they sent us for ultrasound, they wheeled me down then wouldn't let DH in an wouldn't tell me if there was a heart beat because it was a "stat" order. We got back to labor & delivery and they still couldn't find heartbeat and would not tell me what ultrasound said til they got docs report. I lost and started crying uncontrollably. I was beyond scared. The girls felt so bad, they bullied the ultrasound girl into telling them if there was a heart beat to calm me down. There was! A strong 145. About a 1/2 hour that they finally found it with the monitoring strip.he was hiding up high. 20 minute visit ended up being 4 hour nightmare. All is well now but it was the most terrifying hours of my pregnancy.
My next appointment is the 19th. Hopefully my results from glucose test will be in before then.
QOTW :
As a kid I grew up with a single mom, my aunt was a single mom too. She lived 5 mins from us so we were always with my cousins. As you could imagine we were broke, we used to have the most fun with them. We could always find something to do (all had crazy imagination) at the park or neighborhood kids all playing baseball or kickball. I hope we will be able to move closer to family in the next year or two so LO can grow up with his cousins.
*edited due to fat thumb hitting post too early.
Upcoming appointments?
Any updates to share?
Had an u/s and NST yesterday, and the strep test on Tuesday. NST came out perfectly (woo hoo!), and at the u/s they looked at baby's growth and found her head and abdomen are measuring right on track, and that she has incredibly long femur/thigh bones. Long legs! So, apparently, that's accounting for the extra weight right now, and should make the dr less worried about her getting too big. She's an est. 7lb1oz already. Waiting on strep results still.
So tired! But getting excited, and hoping I'm prepared enough to do a natural birth. *deep breaths*
QOTW: What's your favorite memory from childhood? Is it something you hope your own LO(s) will experience as well?

We welcomed the most beautiful baby girl into the world on September 11, 2014!
Upcoming appointments? I have an ultrasound on Friday. Had my weekly OB appt on Tuesday and dr. said I was measuring small based on the fundal height. I'm not to concerned, but want to make everything is ok with our little guy. At my 37 week appt. the other OB (there are several in the practice) said the baby will probably be in the 6 lb range.
Any updates to share? Other than my ultrasound appt, nothing much. I'm hoping it's nothing too serious and that the ultrasound will give us more detailed information about the growth of our little guy. All of my previous OB appts indicated normal and expected growth, so I'm hoping it's just a measurement issue.
How are you feeling? Not the greatest, between the super itchy PUPP rash that goes away and then a new spot pops up and bug bites, my skin is driving me crazy. I have to keep the Sarna lotion on my nightstand so I can slather it on during the middle of the night. Also had a killer calf cramp last night and was in tears afterwards. I'm really to ready to have this baby and get my body back to a more normal and less irritating state. I'm going to pick up some coconut water tonight to make sure I have a glass every night to help stave the cramps.
QOTW: What's your favorite memory from childhood? Is it something you hope your own LO(s) will experience as well? My favorite memory was going to Orlando and visiting the Magic Kingdom, Sea World etc when I was 9. We just had so much fun and it was a great family vacation. We are hoping to do the Disney thing with our son when he's around 5.
How far along are you? 30 weeks, 6 days
Upcoming appointments? Just had one today! Cervical length looked good and we start weekly NSTs on Monday with another growth ultrasound on Thursday. I can't say I'm excited to spend that much time going into the office, but I'll be happy to know that everything is OK with the boys.
Any updates to share? Nothing too significant. Swelling in my feet and ankles is here to stay, and I'm measuring 43 weeks, which I find ridiculous...
How are you feeling? Good!
QOTW: What's your favorite memory from childhood? Is it something you hope your own LO(s) will experience as well? I loved going to the beach with my family and I can't wait to enjoy it with our boys. Holidays too, I'm so excited for their first Christmas!
I am 33 weeks this week. My next appointment is next week Wednesday and I'll see my doctor for the first time in a month (I saw other doctors in between because he was on vacation and then the other time didn't have any appointments available). I will be having an ultrasound the following week so its crazy to think this was my last week with no appointments. Starting next week I have appointments every week. DH and I have narrowed down our names a bit with help from family. We did a tournament style thing for our friends/family to help us out. We will be narrowing it down to the final 4 by Saturday. We are planning to go to the hospital with 4 names and then when we know if it is a boy or a girl choose from 2 names at that point. I am feeling pretty good, but still dealing with awful heartburn and trying to get comfortable. I know this is all part of being pregnant but I won't miss it when its gone.
QOTW: What's your favorite memory from childhood? Is it something you hope your own LO(s) will experience as well? I loved when my family went to Disney but since we live/work here our LO will be spoiled by that. I think it will become one of those not so special things.I really think my love of Christmas and having time with family then will be something I want to make sure they take as a family tradition.
We are recovering well tho--no Percocet for this chick (eww--puking)! Micah sleeps 3-4 hours at night and is already back to his birth weight if 8# 4oz at one week old.
Many prayers for you ladies for an easy delivery and for your LO's!

Any updates to share? Group B was negative. I am still hanging out at 50% effaced, no dilation. I was surprised because I had a crazy week, but OB said to take it easy thing week and something will likely happen.
QOTW: What's your favorite memory from childhood? Is it something you hope your own LO(s) will experience as well? I have a lot of great memories, but one of my favorites is when my Gram came to visit each summer. She was my only surviving grandparent and we were very close. My mom is going to watch LO a couple of days a week, so I hope that they have their own special bond.
4 rounds of clomid, 2 with IUI = BFN
