Cloth Diapering

How much Nellie's?

Just got it and can't wait to use it later!

'One spoonful' just isn't enough info for me ;)

I have a fl he washer, probably 10-12 diapers, hard water, but we use a softening system.

Thanks!

Re: How much Nellie's?

  • I also have an HE FL and slightly hard water. I use one heaping scoop.

When I was using nellies, with my lovely hard water (with water softener, that doesn't seem to make a difference) I used between 1 1/2 -2 scoops depending on the size of the load, washing EOD

  • What chickypoo said!

But seriously, I have hard water, and depending on the load size, I usually use about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 of the scoops. Some times I will use close to two, but that's if I have more diapers in the load or lots of poopy ones.

  • Thanks ladies! No idea the scoop was in there! If it had said 'scoopful' instead of 'spoonful', that would have prompted me to look! Oye I feel like a dummy now!
