Ginger babies

I think ginger babies are totes adorbs. I was hoping one of our boys would come out ginger since both my sister (one of 3) and I are. Welp, looks like I got my wish. LO's hair finally started coming in and behold- it is ginger! Anyone else? I'd love to see pics of your redheaded babies. :P

I have two red headed beauties! Kennedy born 5-8-14 and Harper born 6-17-12. They sure have the "red headed" attitude!

@aimee223  I read somewhere your have a 25% chance of having a redhead only if both parents are carriers for the redhead gene. So your H has to have it somewhere in the family history, even if it is way down the line. I have a friend who is 1/2 Iranian and 1/2 Korean and she has the most beautiful red hair. It is like a dark copper color. I have also known a girl who was 100% spanish with two dark haired parents and she had bright red hair.

DS2's hair has a red tint to it. It looks brown in regular lighting but outside you can definitely see the red. DH is a ginger, he had the bright red hair as a kid but his hair has gotten more brown as an adult but his body hair is still red and if he tries to grow a beard, it is bright red. I think this LO may have similar coloring. Here is the only pic I have that I feel like you can see the red tint.

My hubby and I are both gingers. His is a dark red and mine is more of a strawberry blond. But like others have said, you can only see it in certain lights. Not enough to show on pictures. But we are hoping she is :-)

Like others said, my DD's hair looks reddish under certain lights. DH has light brown hair, and I was a blonde turned more strawberry. I hope DD turns red!

We are still wondering about DDs hair . It definitely has a red tint. I had mixed feelings about it bc I hated it growing up but now like it. DH desperately wanted her to have red hair. Outside it definitely looks red. This is the best picture I have of it.

I had to take a pic of the back of LO's head where there is the most hair. Most times you can't tell in pictures because his hair is so short. I hear red hair takes longer to grow in which was definitely true with my sister and I- my mom said of all of her babies we were bald until around 2 years old. My first son had tons of hair from birth and his hair is super light blonde.

Now I'm singing all the ginger babies in my head like Beyoncé. Love the little gingers. Dude appears to be rocking auburn hair but we'll see.

DD was born with dark brown hair that has a reddish tint in bright sunlight but it's all falling out now and I'm excited to see what comes in next. DS was born with almost black hair but is a darkish ash blond now. I have red hair so people are always surprised that I don't have ginger kids.

I have a little redhead. It was a complete shock as both my DH and I have brown hair (both blond as kids). But my MIL has red hair (now gray).

When our little ginger popped out we were surprised, but I have extended family with red hair and have Scottish ancestry. Can't wait to find out if he also had the temperament to go with the hair!

DS's hair was brown when he was born but his new hair keeps getting more red. DH had red hair as a kid (now is light brown) and I have brown hair with reddish highlights so it's not a surprise. I'd love it if it stays red.

I love all the lil' red heads! My mom and her 6 siblings all had/have red hair so I was hoping, but it looks like LO's will be brown.

I think ds is shaping up to be a strawberry blonde...my maternal grandfather had strawberry blonde hair that stayed that way and never went white! He passed away at 83 years old too. You can def tell in sunlight that ds has red in his hair it's pretty obvious, indoors it looks more dirty blond I hope it stays this way or gets more reddish
