I always have to laugh at the comments when articles like this come out.

Inevitably someone makes the comparison of feeding your baby to pooping.

I'm not one to openly NIP, but I have nursed in restaurants (with a cover), in the car without a cover, and all over the house without.  I've even walked around the house with a newborn nursing.

The media-contrived "controversy" over breastfeeding in public makes me furious.  I saw one of those pics of her on the news and they pixelated the area over her breast, yet they'll show that much cleavage and more as long as it's a piece of clothing covering the nipple and not a baby's mouth.  It's so ridiculous.  I can't even click on that article because I know the comments will get me all riled up.

My husband always comments about how all you need to do is photoshop out a woman's nipples and put a man's nipples in their place and it's all good.

This one is actually a good store that's pro-breastfeeding, but the comments are just dumb as usual.

Yeah. I just don't make a big deal about it :-/ I can't imagine anyone ever saying anything to me. Think about it: I can't even get someone to say "excuse me" in the grocery aisle if I'm in their way. No way will someone discuss my boob

I think that it all just needs to stop. Let those who BF do it, and those who don't don't. If you don't want to see it, don't look. Why does it need to be made into a media circus now? It's ridiculous. A lot of the time, I think that these "pro-breastfeeding" articles just make the situation worse by drawing so much attention to it. 

I had some guy stare at me with a nasty look on his face while I was nursing DD at a ball park (covered, sitting by my family), and I asked him if he had a problem. He then got his panties all in a bunch. I will pretty much nurse wherever, whenever, and I don't use an actual cover, but I don't have my boob hanging all out either. I am feeding my baby, just as millions have done before me. Why do we have to have controversy over such ridiculous things?
