Hi, I've been lurking for a little bit and I've read the newbie blog. I got my BFP on 7/10, but went in for an U/S 7/30 due to spotting. I should have been about 7 weeks, but there was nothing there. Only a yolk sac and fluid (blood) surrounding everything. I had a D&E last Thursday. It was an extremely difficult day for me since it was also the anniversary of one of my closest friends passing. Plus, my dh was out of town and couldn't come home. I'm still having cramping and a little bleeding, but physically I'm feeling better. Emotionally not so much. I have hours that I'm ok, and then something happens and I feel the pain so intensely. I'm hoping time helps that.
I read the blog and spoke with one of the regulars so I wouldn't unintentionally hurt anyone. If I ever say anything that causes pain, please let me know so I can correct myself. The last thing I want to do is cause anyone any additional pain. I recognize several SN from March 15 and I'm so terrible sorry to see you ladies over here. I'm sorry that any of us are here.
**Siggy warning and live child mentioned**
A little about me: I'm 34 and have been married for 2 years. I have a son who is 1 year old and we live in NC with out black lab/hound Stella. I am a SAHM now, but I'm also an RN. I've worked in urology (one of the doctors specializes in male infertility so I have some knowledge on that if anyone has any questions) and critical care (I loved the ICU). My dh and I are building a new house so I'm hoping that will help me through some of this.
I look forward to getting to know you all.
