I finally finished my girls' new bunk beds! I'm so happy with how it turned out.

The blue is the before (obviously).
And I got the frame from a friend for $30! Score!

Thanks ladies! It's definitely the perfect height for toddler bunks and nice and compact for our tiny house but still a twin mattress. We only have two bedrooms, so we had to do something with a third baby on the way!

Cute!  DS has the same bed- but we've got it flipped with the canopy on top.  We are already planning the day when we can use it as a bunk bed with LO!

We're in the same position and looking at the same bunk bed. It's been fun trying to plan for three little ones in one room.

@Mlewis2319‌ I actually had the equivalent of 4 beds in their room at one point. The Kura bunk and two cribs. It was tight! I teased DH that we could have four kids and still not move. .
