My husband and I have narrowed down baby girl names to Autumn and Zara, but can't decide between the two. We don't want family/friend input but some neutral input would be great!
Zara doesn't roll off my tongue easy. I have to think before I say it so I prefer Autumn though I like both. I sort of feel like Zara is nicer written down then when actually said aloud.

For me it depends on when she is due. If she is due in the fall (Sept-Nov) then I think Autumn is an awesome choice. Zara is cute, but I just prefer Autumn. It was on our list at one point, too!
Zara is a name that is really strong and beautiful. Autumn is beautiful too- but I picture Zara being a feisty strong little ball of fire and Autumn being a sweeter quiet individual.
I'm sorry, I think Zara is an unfortunate name for a little girl. I much prefer autumn. Autumn elicits such beautiful imagery while Zara just makes me think ...what were your parents thinking?
This was on our list as well but since I also love to shop at Zara, the connection was too much for me. Not sure if that matters to you but just throwing it out there that some people might associate it with the store.

I like both even though they're so different. I agree with pp, that they connote different personalities. Would you be able to stick it out until she's born to see which one fits her?
"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."
I adore Zara. It was the runner up for DD ( who will be Gloria).
Funny that you chose two British Royal Family names (Autumn Kelly married Peter Phillips, grandson of the Queen, and Zara Phillips is his sister).

They are both so pretty, but very different in feeling to me.
Autumn feels almost a little southern to me, while Zara sort of has an international feel IMO.
