Hi Sapphires

Thanks for the check in @myfirstraspberry.

I'm in the 2WW of my 6th cycle after loss.  Hoping for the best as usual.  I recently found out that my dad is in end stage kidney failure and it's been devastating.  He is so loved.  If we are lucky to conceive this month our EDD would be in his birthday month and I can not tell you how much I would love that...it's actually just a few days after his birthday.  

QOTW:  Best advice NTTCALR was a quote I was told over 15 years ago...Encourage you hopes not your fears.  It's something I remind myself constantly to do.

Thanks for starting this @MyFirstRaspberry‌ . I'm doing ok- I have a follow up with my family doc tomorrow, and my OB on Monday. I told my manager today, just so she is aware when I submit for all these medical appointments. I'm pretty calm, and hopeful at least today. I started to temp again and can hopefully patiently wait for my temps to drop and regulate. I'm hoping that since my m/c was early and natural that my body will get back into things quicker than my last loss,

@LauraO11 - I am glad you are able to get the follow up appts scheduled. It sounds like your supervisor is understanding.  I am keeping my FX that your body heals quickly and returns to a normal schedule.

LauraO11 Fx that your body heals quickly. Glad to hear that you felt comfortable sharing with your boss. Having an understanding supervisor can make a huge difference.

My appt yesterday was pushed back to Thursday. On the plus side, the doctor was able to give me 6 OPKs. Woo hoo.

QOTW: Seek out people's best qualities and focus on those. Some people may hide their wonderful better than others, but paying too much attention to the negative isn't good for anyone.

I did find a therapist, I started visits with her yesterday. We're just getting started, but she feels like I'll benefit from one of the therapies that she specializes in, EMDR. It's supposed to be great for trauma, grief, anxiety & depression. I'm looking forward to getting started with that.

Other than that, we're on to cycle 18. I went for my baseline on Friday & had a couple cysts, but those aren't an issue. We're doubling up on the Femara this time around because my response last time was poor. I'm going back for a check on Friday & hopefully we'll be able to schedule my next IUI for sometime next week.

@beckynsean11 I'm glad that you found someone and have a plan in place!

The home inspection went really well, only 3 things to get repaired and everything else was just improvements. The only problem is that there may be mold potentially in the basement. DH is a bit of a germophobe so he's a little freaked out and is contemplating backing out of the deal. I keep telling him that no house is going to be perfect and with the older houses that we are looking at, you're bound to find problems similar to this in every house. My grandma's birthday party was a lot of fun. We rarely get to hang out with my cousins and it was a good opportunity to do so. One thing that was weird was that everyone was walking on eggshells around me since one of my cousins was pregnant and she was trying to hide it from me. I am really excited for her, and, honestly, it hurt more that people didn't want me to know. I talked to her about it privately and everything was better, but I didn't expect that. On the TTCAL front, I am moving on to cycle 3 post loss. I have been going a little bit crazy. I think that I may scale back on temping and charting so heavily in the hopes of my relaxing a bit. I have noticed that once my chart confirms O, I am constantly stressing and cursing my body when AF shows. I'm continuing with the meditations and stuff to help me keep a more positive outlook, but I feel like I just need some relaxing. I guess I just feel like with September looming, I am feeling a lot of pressure...from myself...to have a bfp by then. 

QOTW: If you need help or feel lost, seek help. You don't have to be superwoman and do it all alone. Also, I like one of my motivational posters from my classroom "You can't change your past, but you can change your future". I put it on the door of my classroom so that I would look at it every day before I left.

Hey Ladies! Thanks for asking about me. Yes, @eliida I am getting close to burning the bench - i hope!

I do have some updates to share with you ladies. Yesterday I got AF which means I start my final TTA cycle on BCP. When I got home yesterday, I had a voicemail on my phone from my RE nurse reminding me to schedule 3 appts when AF arrives  - her timing was perfect, maybe she has special powers! So today I scheduled my 3 appts:

• First, tomorrow morning, a final HCG test to make sure no residual HCG is in my system from the molar pregnancy.
• Second, Aug 15, an HSG which is the final test my RE wants me to get
• Third, Aug 18, and my favorite, the follow-up appt with my RE, where I will learn if I can burn the bench and what the plan of action will be.

I am so excited to have finally scheduled THE Follow-up appt with the RE. I've been waiting for this appt since May but was forced to TTA when the molar pregnancy was discovered. I've been feeling so lost and discouraged lately so I really need to move forward some how - especially with 2 EDD arriving very soon.

I have everything crossed that my HCG is negative and I can move to the next step.

@MyFirstRaspberry That is so exciting! FX super hard for a big fat zero for your beta tomorrow! Hugs on the approaching EDDs. I hope getting THE Follow-up scheduled takes some of the sting out of that.

@eliida - I am glad you were able to get a few more OPK's to try out. Hopefully your appt tomorrow goes well and no issues are found. Thanks for sharing your favorite advice... that is a good one.

@beckynsean11 - so glad to hear you found a counselor to meet with. It sounds like the counselor has a plan to help you, which is wonderful. Hopefully the double dose of femara isn't to rough on you and your next follie scan looks pretty.

@ashlee113085 - I totally understand the need to take a step back from temping and obsessing over your cycle/chart. In the last few months of TTA, I have really enjoyed not caring about temping or charting. I'm so proud of you for sticking with your meditation!

So excited for you @MyFirstRaspberry‌ , prayers you get to burn the bench! My follow up didn't go as well as I hoped. My uterus lining is still 13mm, which is higher than they would like. My GP copied my entire file for me to hand deliver to the OB on Monday, since he's not sure how best to proceed.

Hi Sapphires!  This is going to be a little bit of a post and run this week because I'm still trying to catch up at work from my time off.  I was at the beach from Thursday - Tuesday so I took off three days of work and now have tons to do!

I had my beta check yesterday (almost 7 weeks post D&C and 11 days post AF) and it is still freaking postive.  I can't believe it.  It's still at 9.1.  Anyways, we can't start our IVF cycle yet due to the positive beta so it looks like it won't be possible before our much needed mid September vacation.  Originally, we had planned to take off until after our September vacation anyways but had decided to cycle once before and once after.  Looks like we are back to waiting until after the vacation.  I'm not that upset because it allows me to not feel so guilty when I cheat on the gluten free, dairy free diet since I know we won't cycle until October now.  That sounds so far away!

QOTW:  Stay at home as long as you can after college.  I was able to save a lot of money and we put a big downpayment on our first house together.  I didn't move out until I was 28 and engaged!

hi @CallaLily30!  Ugh! I'm so sorry your beta is still positive. You are soooo close!! I am sorry the timing won't work out before your vacation, but I hope you enjoy the vacation nonetheless. My FX that next weeks test is beta free.
