Good Morning, my lovely May mamas! This is going to be a condensed version as MH and I have decided to stay at the cottage longer then anticipated and I am mobile. Please update us on what is going on with you both TTCAL and NTTCALR Please feel free to PM me anytime if you are having a tough week.  

 This is a check-in for anyone who had a loss or an EDD in May (of any year). I am so sorry for each one of your losses. I hope that this can be a place to give support and help each other through this difficult time. 

Members, give us an update on how you are doing. If I didn’t tag you with specific questions, it’s only because we didn’t hear from you last week (or for a few weeks) - please jump back in. Please pop in and let us know how you’re doing even if you don’t have time to respond to everyone individually this week! New members, introduce yourself so that we can get to know you.

Hi @TVLily‌! Yay extending your vacation that's great! Thanks for checking in on us.

Non ttc we have vacation at the beach with friends Thursday - Sunday. I foresee TPs galore coming out of that lol. But we both took Monday off too just to relax.
Ttc - waiting on AF this week and then we are going to do an IUI this cycle! I am excited and terrified. What's weird is I was really dreading having to try again this month after our break. I'm not sure why. But the change in plan has made me excited. But I also know if it doesn't work I've just accelerated the path to IVF so that's worrisome.

QOTW - horses. I grew up riding in the summer and love everything about it

We haven't had the best timing in a lot of months, so we've been dtd every. single. day. for a week now. I'm just waiting for O, cause I'm a bit sore. "> Hoping it is today or tomorrow. 
Saturday is my birthday.  I've been trying to figure out what to do for it.  I'd love to go on a long distance bike ride, but that would be leaving pretty much everyone other than my husband and I out, and I don't want to do that.  I would just have a cookout, but I feel like I do that every year and quite a bit throughout the rest of the summer.  So, I don't know.  I want to start my 32nd on a really healthy and fun note.  Then on Sunday we leave for our camping trip.  Yes, swimming, biking, hiking and canoeing every day!

Menrandes - Happy Birthday a little early! I hope you have a wonderful birthday whatever you decide to do . . . and enjoy your camping trip!

HoldingOutHope - I'm glad to hear your pap was fine and they know what the problem is. Sorry to hear that you are feeling so miserable. I hope you feel better tomorrow and enjoy the GTG!

AFM - I've been enjoying the yoga classes. I forgot how much I missed them! It's a really great addition to my running regime and I have been sore after almost every class. I like being sore - it's strange I suppose :P
I was informed yesterday that I am going to be promoted after the 4 month interview process. I'm very excited . . . although typical my company, it still needs signed off by the bosses in the UK and USA, so it won't go through until September or mid-October. That's frustrating, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it goes through quickly.
I'm nearing the end of my TWW . . . we'll see what the end of the week brings. I can't believe we've been TTC#1 for over a year now. Life is so unpredictable sometimes.

QOTW: That's hard, I grew up on a farm around cows, pigs, and horses. I do love dogs though and can't wait to own one or two someday.

@holdingouthope That's good that your pap is normal. I'm sorry your medicine is making you feel like crap. Enjoy your GTG!

AFM - My IUI went fine. The doctor actually did it! DH's numbers were bad, 1.9 million post wash. Last time we had three days in between, this time was only two. Mh is thinking early morning collection is hard. The doc said to try co q10. She wasn't negative about his numbers, positive actually.

We are trying to remain positive and believe this will be it. We go for the ivf overview class tomorrow and our followup is the 18th, which is also the day I can test. IVF is scary but if that's what we have to do I'm okay with it. I just hope it's doable with a work schedule. If I have to do it I'm sure I'll have to let my boss know.

I totally understand what you mean about how the change in protocol being exciting and scary at the same time. I am wishing you a very easy iui experience and good numbers. If you want to talk about it feel free to pm me anytime.

AFM, my OB called and told me my pap results were perfectly fine, but I have a bacterial infection! Perhaps that explains the crazy breakthrough bleeding I've been having since starting BCP? I started a round of Flagyl yesterday but the meds make me so sick. I've been lying on my couch, in misery, all day. Hoping my body gets used to the meds so tomorrow won't be so rough. I really need to be in the office tomorrow. Other than that, not much. Just waiting for our follow up with the RE on the 18th. Oh - and we have our DC area GTG this weekend.

@km380 ~ I hope you're able to
enjoy your weekend getaway with minimal TPs!

@menrandes ~ Hopefully you'll be able to confirm O soon and get a little break. FX for great timing this month though! And happy early birthday! Have fun on your trip!

ETA: QOTW - dolphins. My spirit animal for sure. I even have dolphins tattooed on my back.

I am really glad your pap was ok but wth infection? Can't your body give you a break. Fx the doses get easier and u hope you don't have too many less!

((Hugs)) ttc anniversaries really come as a real bite in the ass; fx this cycle is the one and you don't have to see anymore!

That's great the RE did it. Hopefully the co q10 helps! I'm glad you two are trying to be positive! That is definitly the right mindset even though it can be tough.

GL tomorrow! I hope you are able to
get lots of questions answered. I can totally appreciate the scariness of IVF and it's nice to ease your mind into it. Hopefully it's a step that you never have to take ((hugs)).

Hey ladies!!
Sorry I'm slower on the responses today.
Holidays have been really relaxing so far; I can't believe how quickly they're going though. It has been really nice to be on them for the 2ww though; by the time were back to work ill be 10dpo so that helps! We hit O-1, O and O+1 so our timing was good. Just trying to enjoy life with mh this week and not focus on ttc for a few days.

nttcr, not much. I am finally not in pain (woot woot!) and back to work basically fulltime again. because of the two funerals and my surgery in the last few weeks I am shooting 2 or 3 shoots a day from now until beginning of september. with one weekend off for camping. ha! this is going to be a shitshow lol. but I digress. everything else is pretty ok and normal at the tog house

I agree by the end of the fw I am always ready for it to be over. I think it's all the added pressure.

@ashtog‌ sorry YH is being like that, mine does it too. There's no pleasing them. When I'm begging for it, it's too much. Then when we don't do it, he complains we never have sex. Sorry buddy, you have 1 job in this, and it's a fun one!
