My cousins daughter has not been doing very well.
She has lots of blood pressure issues, some bleeding, and the ECMO is still doing %100 of the work of her lungs.
They have tried several times to begin to ease her off the ECMO, only to have to turn it back up all the way.
They had a meeting with all her doctors today and have decided that it there is no improvement by Wednesday that they are going to turn off the ECMO and let her go.
Please send all the prayers and good thoughts for this sweet baby, and most of all for her family no matter what happens. Her parents have never gotten to hold her yet. I can't imagine what they are going through, and I am so heartsick about this.

Update: they found something new to try, and are going to give her at least one more day. I don't know any more details than that right now.
