Stupid ovaries!

UGH!  I just got off the phone with my RE's office, and I will be sitting this cycle out.  Apparently I have a whole bunch of big follicles left over from last cycle: 7 over 10 mm, one of which is at 30.  Sigh.  Apparently they were comfortable where they were, so instead of getting out there to get fertilized, they just kind of stuck around taking in HCG and getting HUGE.  Slackers.  My RE says this is "not necessarily" because I goofed up the trigger shot, but I'm thinking it probably is.  Sigh.  Anyway, looks like its going to be an old-fashioned Sex Week for us this cycle (assuming I ovulate; they say I might not.)

On a brighter note, my hormone levels were really good (for me) this cycle--a personal best, actually.  Woo!

December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.
April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    That is frustrating, but at least you have the old fashioned option available still ;) I am glad your hormone levels were at a personal best! FX for you!

    Thanks, all!  I hope I ovulate, too.  Since I have no idea when that might happen, if it does, I'm back to charting this month.  And it's more like Sex Month than Sex Week.  We're shooting for every other day until I get a positive opk.  DH is pleased right now, but I bet the novelty wears off soon!
