I think I got a job!

I went on an interview yesterday and it went really well- it ended with the dad (it's a aide position) said "We want to make this work for you." But he also said email us with your perfect situation, with my ideal rates and schedule. So I did and DH convinced me that I should high ball my rate, but also to say I had some flexibly in that. And the rate I quoted wasn't like astronomically high- it was in the realm of someone with a masters degree, but I have a bachelors and 8+ years experience(and 5 of those in a leadership training postition), so it wasn't a ridiculous amount at all. But here I sit waiting for a response and I'm getting more and more nervous. I know I probably shouldn't follow up today, but I should follow up, if I don't hear anything, right? I also found a daycare the has spots for both kids. I really want to act on that, because those spots won't be around for long. Bah. I wish there was an emocon for impatiently strumming my fingers.

I toured the facility today, liked it, and am ready to drive over with a check for the registration. I am just a crazy person and am resisting the urge to blow them up with emails or texts in an effort to get something. But I know it's bc I'm crazy so I won't do it:)
