I am in a component of 5 people at work and 3 of them oversee me. Of those 3, two of them have become way overly critical/nit-picky lately and my patience levels are at an all time low.  I am planning on looking for a different job while I am on maternity leave but I might not survive the month of August if this keeps up.

I know you didn't say it or mean it @anymax. I've been working all summer long so I got your sentiment of no sympathy for those that have gotten to not work during the summer.

But before I get attacked. I do have sympathy for the crappy meetings teachers are now having to endure and lesson planning and having to work on their feet at 8 months pregnant. (ETA: as does max)

I recently realized that as a retail worker I get to skip the crappy meeting portion of my profession. I'm setting my store's Halloween set before going out on maternity leave (yes, Halloween in August), but I get to skip all the holiday meetings and I don't have to work around any of the holidays at all this year! Last pregnancy I worked Black Friday while 8 months pregnant. Total blah.

Again..... Efffffffffff work!

@biokitty42‌ I am sorry your dd isn't feeling well. I hope the breathing treatments continue to work. Also I hope the doctors can get some answers soon so that if it is asthma you can at least be prepared. You and your DH have my sympathy, there is nothin worse than seeing your child sick and being helpless. (Then when you added the picture it especially made me say awww poor girl )

@tromboner I DO NOT miss retail at all...or the before hours store meetings when I'd have to get my butt to work by 6am for a 2 hour snooze fest. Respect to you for dealing with customers and product sets while pregnant.

My BF: 1) My boss for telling all the staff at the in-service this morning that my position would be eliminated and she would be taking over my duties next month. How about waiting until I'm given a date or at least an idea of when this will be happening? Or letting me tell them that I most likely won't be returning after maternity leave? 

2) My little darling munchkin for dropping over the weekend and delivering head butts to my bladder. It's painful, makes me suddenly have to pee, and when I do go it's a dribble and not the piss-like-a-racehorse gush that I expect as I waddle down the hall to the bathroom. Kindly stop playing with mummy's bladder, muffin...it's not nice.

@brittneyandadam Thanks so much!  I feel your pain on the bladder issues.  Totally peed my pants last night doing the dishes.  It was like Evie had ahold of my bladder and just squeezed.  I couldn't stop!  Glad I was home though!

A big 'ol grrrrrrr to the sd today. She is horrible to dh, and so is her mother, and it makes me furious. Thankfully dh is not letting them walk all over him like he has in the past. I have a feeling we won't hear from her for a while unless we take her shopping and buy her everything she wants. Which will never happen. Sorry little girl, you aren't entitled to everything you want and throwing fits being mean won't get you anywhere with us. Go badger your mother, that's how she buys your affection and decent behavior. Btw, she's approaching 17 and I am so happy our other kids see the way she demands things is wrong and they do not expect "stuff" and are truly grateful for what they receive.

My phone got knocked out of my hand when clumsy me ran into the door and the screen absolutely shattered.. Plus half the state is on fire and the smoke is giving me a migraine.. Oh and the shrieky kid really tops it all off

shit customer service.... especially when I know how people who scream and stomp their feet ALWAYS get their way, even when they're in the wrong. So the one time I need something fixed a the store, they give me lip and act like they don't care. I guess next time I'll have to throw a tantrum, I just didn't feel like doing it after a long shopping trip and my back was aching. Not worth it.

1. My DH gets disability benefits frm the VA every month, which we rely on to pay our mortgage. Yep, didn't come in this month for whatever reason so now idk what the hell I am going to do.

2. Sciatic nerve pain.

3. DH for not coming in till extra late last night when I had to get up at 5 for work.

4. My mood which is just blah today. I don't know what it is but I do not like it.

5. Exhaustion.

6. My mother for thinking that I want to hear every damn detail about her dog's upset stomach... While I'm fucking eating breakfast at that.

Great news!  My fluid levels almost doubled and my doc changed his mind about keeping me in the hospital.  I was released a couple hours ago and now I am able to attend the services for my Uncle.  Thank you for your support and well wishes!  Hope everyone's week gets better!

And then DH just came home laid off of work. We just lost half our income.... I know we have family who will support us(and keep us afloat financially), and he gets to file unemployment(and his boss who was sad to have to let him go paid him what he would have made this week), but seriously this could only be worse if it happened while I was on maternity leave. Balls the economy sucks right now, here's to hoping he finds another job fast.

My mom has been bugging me to add more in-store items to our registry so I took DH to Target with me this evening. Now our registry includes two Diaper Genies, a 32" TV, and 10 bottles of 5-Hour Energy.

My late Monday (yes, it's still Monday here) is that we have not one but two storms east of the islands heading straight for us.  So instead of coming home and relaxing after work, DH drug me out into the madness that was our BX and commissary to go get supplies just in case.  I'm glad we were prepared, but I was in some serious pain after work, and walking around the commissary and dealing with crazy people didn't help.  At least when he took the bus over to the NEX, he told me to stay home.    

It's not a matter of if the storms will hit us, we just don't know the severity at this point.  The first one (Category 4 hurricane right now...supposed to be down to a tropical storm by the time it gets to us) is supposed to hit Friday and Saturday, and then the second one (TS right now, but is on the brink of hurricane status) is right behind it.    I've also been having daily conversations with little man that he needs to stay put this weekend and not try and make an early appearance because I'm not quite sure we would even be able to get to the hospital.  

My other bitch is that I have a uniform inspection tomorrow when I get into work.  This is one time I'm glad that I don't have a lot of awards and stuff that I had to put on my uniform.  I am not looking forward to showing up tomorrow in my maternity service dress mumu (yes it seriously looks like a mumu).  Silver lining is that I only have to be at work until noon because of my NST.
