Does The Bleeding Ever Stop

I keep thinking my miscarriage bleed is over and done but it seems like there is no end in sight. Today for example i thought for sure i was totally out of the woods with my spotting because all day it was nothing but a little bit of brown when i wiped so i figured that was probably left over from yesterday when there was still some blood coming out and it was definitely more pink. I haven't needed a pad all night or since this morning, up until now and i think i know what's to blame....I had an orgasm (Not from intercourse) and shortly thereafter i saw red. A gush of it came out in the shower along with a clot or two. How can there still be fresh lining that needs to shed?  I just don't understand, i was so confident that by now i had to be safe. I just want it to stop for good, i've already bled for close to 12 days -Spotting included (If you count all the days that i had any amount of blood)

    It will stop eventually.  I bled on and off with at least spotting every day for a month until I started a new cycle and bleeding went back to normal.  If it goes that long though you'll want to see your doctor to make sure there is no retained tissue.

    I bled for 8 days, and then stopped. Then, all of a sudden on day 10ish I bled again very heavy for a few hours. It will stop, you just have to be patient. Your body (and you!) are going through a traumatic event. Hopefully it will ease for you very soon. Take care of yourself.

    I bled/spotted for about 3 weeks... Nothing for a few days then spotted for a bit before AF. It took a few cycles for that to get back to normal. Take it easy.. I'm sorry for your loss.

    I know it seems like it will never end and it's so hard to see it day after day. It will stop eventually. If it's a lot for several days (soaking through a pad an hr) then you might want to see a dr to make sure there's nothing wrong. ((Hugs)) to you. I hope it stops soon. I bled for ab 3 weeks before mc was confirmed (mostly spotting) then after I went to the ER bc it was super heavy I bled for ab a week till all the tissue passed then it finally stopped.

    Everyone is different which I know is a frustrating answer, but my bleeding just stopped (knock on wood) last Friday for a total of 6 weeks to the day. I also had almost made it through the day "feeling safe" before I was disillusioned with a gush and clots while cooking dinner one evening about a week after my D&C. I know this really sucks but hang in there!
    Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.
