Fantasy League Draft is SET!!!!!!

The draft will be on Friday August 29th at 8:00PM Eastern Time

Now when you go into the league you may notice that it says that the time is 5:00PM PDT for some reason yahoo shows the time in Pacific Time.  So as long as you log in at the time that is 8:00PM eastern time in your area you will be fine.  Also make sure you test whatever device you are gonna use during the draft to make sure that it works.  There should be a link in the league that you can click on.  

Now if you know for sure that you will not be able to be at the live draft.  Here are the steps (if you need them on how to rank players so they will be auto picked for them) 

1. Go to Draft Central (its apart of the draft menu at the top)

2. Pick Pre-draft Players rankings

3.Click on Edit Rankings

4. Just move players that you want to draft to the preferred players and any that you know you don't want to the do not draft (so hopefully you can avoid getting injured guys or 3rd or 4th string guys)

5. Then save your changes

When the draft happens if you are not logged in then it will just do the auto draft for you.

If you will be at the live draft just log in before it starts it will do a count down when it starts and it will have the draft order so when it is your turn you just pick who you want that is available.  There will be a chat so there can be trash talk The draft will end once all the slots are filled so about 15 rounds. I'm not sure what order everyone will draft because I have it set to randomly pick the order 30 minutes before the draft.

Awesome!!! Thanks for the step by step directions for auto pick as well. I'm hoping to be in on the live draft, but toddler bedtime may get in the way. So excited! Thanks for all your hard work!!! ....btw, watching pre-season right now.... finally, it's back!!!!

Ok, so...I've never done the auto draft. For anyone that has...how many of each player do you suggest putting into the preferred players side? I don't want to end up with a team of all running backs lol

@AmandaRae529 You can put how ever many players for whatever position you want.  The computer knows how many of each position you need.  SO even if you put ALL running backs in the preferred players it will draft you a quarterback and the other positions you need.  I would say though at best try to at least put 5-6 of each postion on your preferred list just so you are covered.

Awesome. Thanks! I've only done this fantasy thing once last year. I did my draft from my computer. I'm not even sure a live draft is possible from my phone plus I'll be at a Motley Crue concert on the 29th so I doubt I'll be able to concentrate much to do the draft. I want to make sure I have it set up as good as possible

Definitely not easy towards the end with so many teams playing. But I think it'll be fun and we're all pretty equal. Thanks @Dumbgurl04 for organizing!

This has been a fun experience. DH's friend (who knows a little bit more about FF) kind of side eyed my "strategy." Whatever.



They started their draft about an hour after ours ended and the power went out. Lol. :-p

@absolutelymaybe‌ That's the thing about FF though. You never know what will happen. The best lineup could bust, or the sleepers could come out blazing! I was laughed at during the draft my first year playing and ended up winning first place in my whole company. You just never know! Too funny that the power went out during their draft - sucks for them!

Im so ready for Thursday night.  This should be fun, even though at the end the pickings were very slim I feel a got a pretty decent team even though yahoo gave me a D+ >:P

I love my team! I auto drafted in the other league I play in and am not a fan of that team. But my N14 team rocks!! I got a B.

I got a B- Hate that I only have one QB right now. And the 2 kickers I got are both out...one for the whole season. Seriously Yahoo? Get your shit straight )
