Good morning lovelies! How are you today? Having a good weekend? Any fun plans?

I just got off from an overnight at my retail job. We are heading to a pool party and then shopping! Im actually not terribly tired yet (lots of coffee had been had)! A nap is certainly in my future Our weekend has been filled with bonfires, good friends and a little side of work lol!

Hi @skategirl128‌ sounds like a great day planned! Except the overnight last night, sorry.
Today is errands and work. I already got the dog groomed and did the grocery shopping, think a quick target trip might be necessary too. Then I have to do more work. I despise working weekends when work is busy.

If any bakers are around - has anyone made chocolate chip cookie dough a few days ahead and then refrigerated the dough before baking? I need to make cookies Tuesday night but want to do the dough today. I've never done it with choc chip cookies though. TIA!

As for me, I finished piecing together a quilt top this morning, with only a little bit of seam ripping, which is a small accomplishment. I'm about to go out to my garden and pick my green beans to enjoy tonight with broccoli and cheese quiche. I'm scheduled to work this afternoon, but don't think I'll have to due to low census. Fingers crossed anyways

My day has been great! Had fun swimming, shopping and napping! Trying to decide what to make for dinner and maybe I'll be inspired by all of your baking and do the same

I'm mobile so I can't respond to everyone. But....the swimming sounds great, the margaritas and shrimp kibobs sound awesome, the green beans and quiche sound yummy and all the baking is giving me a sweet tooth.

I got my grocery shopping done!!! Groceries out away. Haven't killed my DH (he left the dogs out of their kennels when he left while I was shopping and they chewed on my laptop charger that was on the table but on the plus side they also chewd the charger cord to the PS3 remote which I'm getting joy out of). For dinner I'm making homemade chicken pot pie with lemon meringue Pie for dessert.

@skategirl128‌ just got done eating and by far it was the best one I've made yet!! It was like having an orgasim in your mouth!! We actually have company this week and he agreed. Although he is going through a divorce right now and his wife never cooks and if she did it was hamburger helper stuff so not sure how reliable his tastebuds are.
