Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be here and to meet all of you, and hear your stories! DH and I have been TTC since 2013 and sought help from an RE in Jan 2014. It was determined through HSG, SA, U/S that the cause of our IF is that I just don't ovulate. As a result, RE placed me on Clomid 50 mg (nothing). Then Clomid 100 mg (nothing). Clomid, 150...nothing. Finally, last resort, Clomid 200 with u/s. U/s showed at least 3 maturing follies, and I was given Ovidrel trigger 2 weeks and 1 day ago, with instructions to take it at 9 pm. However, I got a call from the doc in the afternoon saying my body was already ovulating on my own and to do the trigger ASAP, so I did (with DH's help. I just couldn't shoot myself!)
So, we hoped and prayed and about 5 days later I started noticing my nipples were extremely sensitive. I had almost imperceptible cramping. I chalked it up to the hormones and went on with life, but in the back of my mind wondered IF THIS WAS IT! Over the next 1 1/2 weeks, nipples stayed sore. A couple days ago, I started feeling some cramping/pressure in my belly. I just knew in my heart I was pregnant but I wasn't supposed to do anything until 8/5 (at that point, if no AF instructions were to call RE for a beta). But I jumped the gun, and yesterday decided to test. Well, guess what? BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not believe my eyes!!!!!!!!!
Today, just to make sure, I tested again. BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lines are faint, but they are def there! I am sooooooooo excited I can't contain myself, and I want to tell the world! But yet I don't because WHAT IF...So, I have told a few close people but that's all for now. Seeing the entire family for dinner tonight and it's gonna be so hard not to blurt it out! And I'm a HUGE wine drinker, so I'm sure they will know something is up.
So, my questions to you:
How long did you wait before telling family and friends?
HOW DID YOU KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT IN THE MEANTIME!?

March 6th our little man was born.

10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP
