Thanks guys. Today I'm super sore. Do any of you guys have heel spurs or plantar fasciitis? My feet hurt like crazy after working out and first thing in the morning (dr. google tells me it's heel spurs). The only time in my life when my feet didn't hurt was when I was pregnant. Haha. But I think that's the only time I've ever been truly sedentary.
Any recommendations for shoes around the house? I'm usually barefoot and the only way I'm comfortable is in sneakers, but I'm looking for something easier to slip on. And, flame away, but I'm thinking of getting crocs. Thoughts?
Ha! That's why I kept my crocs - though they have since died. I wore them around the house for my feet all the time. Now, I have a pair of Nike flip flops with a structured but soft soul that I wear most often. I have a pair of Sanuks too, but I don't like the strap as much.
If you want more shoe than a flop (or don't want your toes to have to work) I LOVE my Sketchers Walk shoes. They are made to wear sockless. Those are my go-to shoes if I don't grab my flops.

My favorite sandals are Chacos. They have great arch support, which you need if you have heel spurs or plantar fasciitis. While crocs are comfy, they don't really offer any arch support.
Still waiting on the double stroller from a friend but instead of jumping on the elliptical (not sure if that is too much movement for a couple weeks post). I decided to do some good old high knee marching in place and around the first floor. Must look pretty comical but it is working for now.
I even got to 10K steps earlier this week and am on track to reach it again today!
@bpaws - I was fitted for the shoes I wear now and it really was the enlightening. I'm a full size bigger than I thought. But that was a year and a half ago, so maybe its time for new shoes?
@pup4gdb - I think I might have the same nike flip flops. I'll have to dig them out and see if they help.
@argonne - Hmmm...I've never had crocs, I didn't realize that they don't have the arch support. You are probably right, I don't think they are the right choice if that's the case.
I'm jumping in here but I've been reading all you post the last day is so while nursing and I must say you all are motivating and inspiring me! I gained 55lbs while pregnant with DS 1 in 2011 but lost 60 in 7 weeks so I thought the 35 or so I've gained this time would fall off like that as well.... Wrong!! I've lost about 22lbs of that on 4 weeks and seem to be be holding strong there. I'm in my thirties now so I guess it wont be so easy this time. Thanks for inspiring me to get my fatty mcfatterson ass out of this rocking chair!!
