Sunday Check In

How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about?

Have you been closely following any local, national, or world news stories in particular lately?

  • Holy moly, sanding furniture really is hard work! I woke up this morning with sore muscles all over! But, I did STTN for the first time in a long time.

We get the weekend newspapers delivered to the house. I basically skim the articles unless something peaks my interest, but no, I'm not following any stories or issues in particular.

I'm doing ok today. Just feeling really pregnant. Lo has been moving around like crazy today and I love it.

I watch tons of news programs/read stories on the Internet but I am really disenchanted with them because it feels like so much info is not being covered. The basics of story telling / reporting is not there (who, what, when, where and how) and it just drives me bonkers.

It is like they are all trying to break the stories first with no real in depth follow through.

Ok. Its almost noon and FI is still in bed. He had too much to drink last night, so it kinda puts a damper on the day. Esp since its the only one we get together and I feel like we have to much to get done. Plus he's quitting chew, so that makes him a little grumpy. And it takes him a while to wake up too...ugh.

Not really. I'm kinda interested in the ebola patient transfer stuff, but other than that, I just skim things online. @Irobi13 makes a good point, there's always a lot of info missing w/reporting these days...

  • Feeling pretty good. Got most of the nursery done. Just need to decorate it and decide which way we want the crib to go. Well, and wash stuff in a few weeks.

  • Finally got the nursery painted today! Woohoo! I am so excited! I can't wait to start decorating it. Haven't been feeling the best the last two days though. I had to run to the bathroom night before and vomit. My stomach has been cramping like crazy and making funny noises. Not sure if it is a virus or food poison.
I really don't follow the news that much because it is so depressing.
  • Pretty good today! Anxious energy though. I think I need to put myself on a structures schedule to help. But I am kinda enjoying my vaca sleep in and watch tv routine... Hm.

News: I try to keep up with stuff but there is so much about infant car deaths. I just can't deal with that right now; I am too emotional.

  • @amstevens78‌ I gave the love tit for the nursery not you being sick
  • Ok, late to the game today, ladies. Here goes...

How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about?
Feeling pretty good. Had a busy day at work today that made the day fly. LO has been dancing in my ribs lately and it literally makes me shake/tremble in reaction. Looks like I've got a bad case of the hiccups! In other news, I'm finding that I have to stay active during the day or else I'll succumb to feeling like I have absolutely NO energy. Isn't that strange? Saturday (yesterday) was my day off and I spent more time hanging out on the couch, but every time I got up to do something I felt like I needed to stop and sit from just walking. Like, had to stop to rest from walking from the living room to the kitchen. Damn crushed lungs.

Have you been closely following any local, national, or world news stories in particular lately?
Definitely the Ebola virus thing, which freaks me out a bit. The plane made a stop in Bangor to refuel on its way to GA. Other than that, not really. Our whole town has been consumed by the local Lobster Festival, which attracts people from all over the country world. Today was the last day of it, so I'm excited for traffic in the area to go back down to a summer normal pace.
