naming a girl a jr??

I have no idea what we are having, but we have talked briefly about names.

So far we have thought about Liam for a boy. We really liked the name when I was pregnant with DS, but finally named him Caleb. Now, I'm not too sure on Liam.

My main question is, what do you all think of naming a girl after her dad?

I thought of Randi. After her (if it is a her) daddy. MHs name is Randy. I would love Randi Vivian (middle name after my mom).

I'm not very creative, girl names are so hard for me!

I think Randi after her Dad is a nice name. She wouldn't really be a "junior" anyhow.

It's adorable! I had a childhood friend whose dad's name was robert/bob and they named her Bobbie. I think it's a great idea!

I don't see anything wrong with naming a girl after her dad, and I think Randi is cute!

This is a great suggestion! I personally don't like Randi on its own but I like Miranda. You could ask the name board for other great suggestions too.

Also, I don't like Liam because it's everywhere! There are a thousand little Liams running around. I love Caleb! If we have a boy, I'm pushing for this name. Other boy names on our short list: Seth and Anders.

Love this idea!! I think Miranda Vivian nn Randi is adorable. I have a friend who's family does this and it always seemed like a neat tradition. Her father is Rick so she is Erika. Then her husband is Ronnie and her daughter is Cameron.

thank you all for the great  suggestions. i have always thought of miranda with randi for a nn. DH has a cousin named miranda. not a huge issues though.

I think that's totally fine. By the title I thought you were going to say "Randi Jr" which I personally wouldn't go for haha
