Anyone else having trouble peeing?

I have been treated for repeated UTIs and am still finishing a round of antibiotics, but I'm starting to wonder if the symptoms are just pregnancy symtpoms. Baby has dropped and I'm slightly dialated and quite effaced.

When I get up in the middle of the night repeatedly, I have to focus on being able to pee. No burning but bladder feels full and then only a little comes out. Wth?

Also, secondary, I wake up unable to breathe through my nose and when I go to bed I can. I take allergy meds and have been checked for sinus infection. Anyone have this, too?

As far as the going to the bathroom to go, I get that occasionally. I guess I always assumed it was due to either 1) I held it for way too long or 2) baby is sitting low and sort of in the way.

As far as the sinus stuff, yes...I definitely have this! Only at bedtime, like you said. H recorded me snoring last night...sigh.
    That's what I thought too!

  • Yup! I get this and also think it's just baby putting pressure on the bladder so the feeling to pee is stronger and lingers even after I do go

  • Yes! We went to 2 stores today and I practically ran into the bathroom in both... Both times just drops! Ugh. It's been happening for a few days now. I know baby boy is low, so I thought maybe he is just laying on it...

  • I find it also helps to stand up for a moment, then sit back down before assuming you emptied your bladder all the way. My OB recommended this last pregnancy and it really helps me empty my bladder more, I'll pee more with the second attempt after standing than the first attempt quite often.

  • Yup the peeing thing is normal pregnancy stuff. Feels like you're barely gonna make it to the bathroom and then *drip drip* lol
