How's this NB stash looking?

Hi all - I'm new to this board, and looking forward to CDing our first LO who is due in dec. I'm hoping for some guidance on the newborn stash we've assembled. Here's what we've got:

15 NB no closure workhorses (GM)
24 xs prefolds (nickisdiapers)
7 covers

Does that sound like enough changes? Enough covers? Am I overlooking something?

Looks great. If you want to wash EOD one more cover wouldn't be a bad idea, but not a necessity.

I second potter's Qs plus have you decided what detergent you will use?

All that ^ plus... What covers are you using?

Don't the xsmall prefolds only go up to ten pounds? You may want to get some small prefolds too to help until the transition to OS (if that's what you're planning on using), otherwise you may end up having no or too few diapers that are useable at one time.

Thanks @potterowl‌. I've got 5 snappis, 3 wet bags (two medium and one the large on the door handle kind instead of a pail), and just ordered some cd-safe bum cream. Do I need more snappis or wet bags? I think I'll need at least one more little one for wipes on the go.

Still need to figure out wipes and detergent....

@CLDLL I also just ended up with 3 more NB covers (hand me down). Hooray! I was feeling like one more might be nice too so that was lucky

@into+the+kitty good idea about getting some bigger prefolds too. You're right, the NB ones say for up to 10 lbs. Small are 10-15 and medium is 15-29. In the hand me down bag I just got today 6 sm covers and 5 medium covers, so if I get some prefolds we can try those out. I'm honestly not sure yet just what kind of diapers we want to transition to after NB, and I'm hoping I'll have a better idea once baby is here. I've also got 6 pocket diapers (a few different ones, all one size style).

The NB covers are sweet pea covers with Velcro closures. They say they'll go from 5-12 lbs. The sm & med covers I just got are cot'n wrap, plus a couple of wools.
