Hey ladies! Everyone should have had there little one by know so we'll change things up a bit. The check-in has been pretty slow as we all adjust to our life change but hopefully things will pick up eventually. . Have a great weekend!

QOTW- We are all going through a lot of changes right now with our life and our relationships have certainly changed with our SO. Second time mommas, how did you get through these times. First time mommas - how are things going and what are you trying?

How old is LO? 9 1/2 weeks
LOs name? Kelsey

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically good. The weight is starting to slowly come off. Emotionally much better this past week. No where nearas many breakdowns but I start back to work 3 days for a month on Monday and I'm so sad to leave my girls.

Challenges/Successes? She started rolling front to back when we do tummy time but she pretty much just loses her balance and falls over. . She's still a great sleeper but we need to start putting her down drowsy in her crib and not milk drunk.

Cute/Funny stories? DD#1 keeps telling me that her milk comes from cows and Kelsey's milk comes from mommy.

QOTW- DH and I are doing much better the second time around. The first time was a tough adjustment for us. We just kept telling each other that we would be married at the end of this. We'd always try to hug and kiss each other when we could. By about 8 months with DD#1, our relationship was back to about normal. Hang in there ladies.

Camryn is 6w1d. ~~~~ things going great here. Emotionally I didn't know it was possible to be this happy! I am starting to get a little nervous about going back to work but I've got another 5 1/2 weeks left. I watched the you tube video of the little girl that was upset about her baby brother growing up, and this is the conversation I have with Camryn every day! Physically great, got the go ahead from my doc to work out, and I went back to weight watchers this week too. ~~~~ Camryn is sleeping through the night consistently, 8-8 1/2 hours straight. I'm so lucky! Challenges: she has been pukey lately, and fussier in the evenings. Not sure what to do. ~~~~ funny stories: nothing specific, I just can't believe how much fluid and gas can come out of such a little person! One fart was so loud I thought it was the ice maker in the freezer! ~~~~ QOTW: I think our relationship is actually better. I didn't think it was possible to love him more than I already did, but seeing him with our daughter is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! We were lucky to never have to deal with sleep deprivation, ect, which I think makes a big difference.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally?
Feeling good emotionally- made the decision that I won't be returning to work until November so that has put my mind at ease. Physically I feel as though I'm 80% back to myself. It is no longer scary to go #2 and that I am thankful for (baby steps)!

Challenges/Successes? Still trying to boost my supply. These mothers milk teas aren't the tastiest

Cute/Funny stories? Avi smiles non stop and when we put him in his swing he "coooos" to the teddy bears above him.

I'm with you ladies!!! I feel as though there is no way I could ever repay DH for everything he's done these past months. I don't know about you guys but I sometimes think of what it would be like if one of my exes was the father and how much of a nightmare that would've been!!! So thankful for my husband!!

How old is LO? 6 weeks 3 days
LOs name? Elle
How are you feeling physically/emotionally?  Physically I'm great.  I'm almost a few pounds shy of my pre-pregnancy weight. Emotionally I am feeling more confident.

Challenges/Successes?  My challenge is getting LO to STTN.  I'm excited we're finally up to three hours (I celebrate small victories).

Cute/Funny stories?  I think it's cute that if LO is drifting off in her swing and someone asks if she's sleep, her eyes immediately open.

QOTW- DH is my hero!  Like others have mentioned, I could not imagine doing this alone.  He has been so supportive and understanding.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally?  Physically I'm feeling pretty good.  I have my checkup on Wednesday.  I didn't consistently work out after having my first, and I never lost the weight.  I am feeling ready to get running and to do better this time.  Emotionally I am doing much better.  I'm happy to be getting to the end of the hormonal sadness part.  

Challenges/Successes?  I am nannying right now, but my job ends in September.  I am working on getting my home licensed to start a small in home daycare.  But between being gone all day on weekdays(I take my 2 with me, and watch 2 sisters), stuff to do at home and having a 2.5 year old and newborn, I cannot find the time or energy to keep moving on the job planning stuff.  I just want to bury my head in the sand, and believe that we'll win a million dollars and I can just be a SAHM.  

Cute/Funny stories?  Vivi has started smiling in response to people.  She especially likes me (!) and always gives me lots of smiles and happy faces if I come back into her sight range after being out.  She also loves kisses and opens her mouth up to me and leans in if I start kissing her.  

QOTW- Both this time and last time, H and I have bickered a ton after having the baby.  He is an amazing dad and an amazing husband, but neither of us deal well with sleep deprivation, I am always stressed going back to work right after having the babies, he's so busy that when he takes time off to help and to spend time with his kids (which he is great about doing) he gets behind which stresses him out.  Things started getting better last week, which I attributed to my hormones evening out, until he said something the other day about things that he had been trying to help us not bicker so much.  It was so sweet of him to figure it out on his own (normally I'm the one that analyzes our relationship) and to take the necessary steps to make things better.  And it's really made a huge difference!

@skamber-yay for sleeping through the night! The awkwardness will get better.

@carriebear22- Kelsey was sleeping about that much when she was Camryn's age and now she's going about 10 - 10 1/2 hours. We may have been blessed with good sleepers but I'm waiting for a sleep regression.

@redmar-fx you can boost up your supply. It sucks that the tea isn't any good.

@presslove- have you tried swaddling? We swaddle with the summer infant swaddles. She definitely wouldn't sleep as well without it.

@kimmyberly26‌-LO loves to be swaddled. It really gets her settled.

@skamber‌- I'm missing the big feed. LO just isn't into big meals. I'll keep trying.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Much better... had a heart to heart with DH this past weekend.  Starting to accept that I'm having to use daycare and work... don't like it but the anger is subsiding.  

Challenges/Successes? Now that we have the rock'n'play, LO is sleeping 6 + hrs a night.  She's not sleeping well at daycare because she has to sleep on her back and with her reflux, it really bothers her.  I need to call her pedi and see if he'll sign a waiver for her to sleep in a different position. 

Cute/Funny stories? On Friday, when I picked up LO, she gave me a HUGE grin when she saw/heard me.  Made me feel so good!

Well, like I said earlier, DH and I had a heart to heart this weekend which really helped.  We both need to make each other a priority more often though.  It's been tough, but it was tough before LO got here.
