Vent: Need Love

Between a sister who I used to be bf with that won't respond to my texts (yet is facebookimg away), a bridal party I'm not a part of - nor the wedding, and a friend who didn't call me back, I'm feeling extremely unloved right now. I've never had a ton of friends but felt close to the ones I had, I can't help but feeling down and out right now. Thankful for you ladies for letting me vent.

Ugh, I hear you. I have a big group of friends, but the only one with a kid. Feelings left out sucks, no matter how old you are:(

Some night we should start a thread where everyone has a glass or two of wine while we all vent!

I hear ya! I don't have a big group of friends and the ones I do have don't have kids or live far away. It definitely gets lonely sometimes. Although i dont know you ladies IRL, i think of you as friends. You've certainly helped me through enough. If I weren't KTFU I would totally be down for a wine and whine night.

I am also going through a lot and starting to fewl some resentment towards Dh . 1) He went on a bachelor's party weekend full of drinking and rafting and camping. 2) He's not even in the wedding. 3) Im at home with DD 24/7/365 and never get a break. 4) He never changes Any diapers. 5) I am stuck at home with no vechicle. I could keep going, I can already tell you its not gonna be good when he gets home. Im afraid I need a couple stiff vodka and cranberries or hes gonna get cussed out..

I'm with y'all. I'm forever reaching out to people. It's exhausting. Now one of my new friends is this girl from church and I'm basically being friends with her because they live a mile away from us and we're the same age/have small children together. DH doesn't really like her H, either...they're fine people but the chemistry is just not there, y'know? But I'm in no position to forsake potential friends right now, haha.

I'm like you in that I prefer to have fewer but closer friends.  I think the process of losing/gaining friends is totally normal and unavoidable, but it's more painful when you really invest in people in your life.  Sorry it's hitting you at such a hard time.  And WTF with your sister?
