Babies on Zantac

My daughter is on Zantac and it was increased from .5ml to .7ml a few weeks ago because she was acting very fussy again. She just started being fussy like she was a few weeks ago. Im pretty sure since the dosage is based on weight, we need to increase it again. Im waiting for the doctor to call me back but im curious if anyone else ended up increasing dosage. How much and how often?

She is about 11 1/2 pounds btw

My 11 lber was started on .8 but from what I saw on this board many babies in the same range were on higher dosages.

We only had one increase with Zantac he started at 12# was increased at 15# before he was moved to Omezaprole. His dose was increased after 2 weeks on it because he needed a stronger dose and we're still trying to get it under control not because the 1/2# he gained.

Our guy started at 0.6ml at 7#, he's 14# now and on 1.5ml-- and it's not working. Probably going to start Prevacid instead next week, ped is out of office til then.

Its strange how common reflux is. Ped said it should get better around 3 months but that is the 20th and I dont see that happening

We are seeing a gi regularly since lo has problems pooping on his own so they up it normally once a month he's 14lbs and on 1.1 we need to go up as its not helping as much

Im sorry for all of you mommies that are dealing with it too! It is hard to have a screaming baby all day
