I know everyones experiences are different, but I had never heard of getting two sweeps done within a week. My midwife is coming to do my second sweep today, my last was Tuesday. I lost my plug Wednesday and have had a lot of cramping since, but thats it.
Did anyone get two done within just a few days? And if so what was your personal result?

It's a pretty simple procedure though, and I would rather have it done at home than have to go in and be uncomfortable on the table!
I only had one sweep at 41+2 to see if we could get labour started without an induction. My midwife must not be as aggressive as some are, because it didn't really hurt, and there was only a minor amount of spotting. Unfortunately, it didn't do anything. A few minor cramps that went away with a few hours.
She may be hoping that because you had some results, that another might actually get things going. Most midwives know what they're doing, but you can always refuse. How far along are you? I'm pretty sure membrane sweeps don't do a damn thing until your body is ready to labour itself (based off of completely unscientific anecdotal information).
For me, it never worked, and I ended up with an induction (after declining my midwife's castor-oil cocktail).
