TGIF... What are your plans for the weekend?

Hi ladies,

Well, we made it another week.  Although I often think that the weekends are more work but definitely more fun! 

We'll probably go out to dinner tonight with the family.  Tomorrow I'm planning to drag my family to a few tile stores and bathroom fixture stores to get some ideas for the remodel.  Then I think I'll make them take me to the big mall to pick out my birthday present.  Sunday is church and a kid birthday party. 

So what's going on for your weekend?

Could not be happier this week is over.  It was completely exhausting with LO getting up so much at night for the past few weeks.  Tomorrow we have a birthday party for my niece (7) and nephew (2).  Sunday I am hoping to get out of the house baby free for a while.  Probably meet up with my sisters.  I need a break!

Super excited for this weekend - we are going camping with 2other college friends and their kids.  We are going from Sat-Tues and renting a pontoon boat for one afternoon.  It's always so much fun and the kids are really looking forward to it. Now just to hope the weather cooperates.

Moving into our house tomorrow! This should be exciting news (and it is) but it's been tempered quite a bit by the sudden discovery that we should have had a rough building inspection BEFORE closing up, sanding and painting the bedroom walls. We were told when we got the permit that the only rough inspection we needed was electrical (which we did on schedule) but of course I don't have that in writing.

I know I'm veering off topic, but I think I'll spend the whole weekend feeling like I'm going to puke until I can talk to the building official on Monday. He is, of course, on vacation today.

This morning DH and I have a project to work on so we hired a babysitter for a few hours. This afternoon is a neighborhood block party and then DS is going to an event at church with a friend of ours so it will just be me and DH home with the baby.

Sunday our schedule is blissfully open! Of course I have a huge pile of laundry and two unpacked suitcases from last weekend so I'm sure I'll keep busy. I'm thinking of having a movie afternoon with DS while I sort and fold laundry. DH also wants to clean out and organize our chest freezer - we have a very exciting life!
